Ellen SoloeI thought it was funny.

It was also disrupting the ongoing story's, as green slime was sprayed on everyone involved and the bar was put on lockdown. It was not the right place for "that" joke.

Something like that:

"he vomited a green gush of mucus and collapsed. a strange-looking liquid ran out of all his orifices while he trembled and gurgled towards the nearest group of visitors."

Would have been equally suprising and may well have changed the way the story's progression big time, while giving all of the involved a choice how to react.



I like this option. The difference between "you can choose to deal with this" or "you must deal with this" can be a fine distinction, but when it comes to RP, it makes all of the difference in the galaxy.

Your main problem wasn't turning into mush, but enforcing the station reaction with instant lockdown and quarantine without chance for ant reaction from characters to you stumbling into the bar.

You see, while you walked into the bar, everyone in there would have had a chance to react to it even before you pressed your button. Additionally, you have no agency to decide how the station reacts to what you do.

Those were your two faults. It's called power/god emoting.

Idk sounds more like a you problem.  As in, you people can’t take a joke.
It doesn’t matter how many times you explain this. I legit could not care less. I created a character literally to die in one paragraph for a punchline, ergo I’m washing my hands of this.

By all means continue to extol the values of RPing. I will have none of it.

Security camera footage of what just occurred at the Galactic Bar showing the accused is innocent after all.

The real culprit was NPH, one of our apes who is... shall we say... one dilithium crystal short of a warp core.

We apologize for the incident. Rest assured the apes have the situation under control.

I'm needing inspiration as to where my Commander comes from.  Already thinking he's an orphan or some type.  Fragmented memories, etc.  Want to make sure it fits somehow. (After reading...I should join the Silverbacks seriously as I'm such a filthy casual grognard anyway)

Look for a system that sounds like ya commander name.
Do join the Silverbacks, top blokes.. Apes and monkeys.
