RL recently got lots more busy & stressful. I have a story with which I'd like to continue, & although inspiration is in short supply, motivation is beyond scarce.

I've taken a hiatus from the game for the time being, until I can feel better & have fun playing it. Right now, I don't find the same peace & enjoyment there that I 1nce did; hopefully, the worst in RL eases ASAP to the point where can I feel good about returning. I don't handle chaos well.

Someone posted here the other day about heading up a guardian site trip with his fleet carrier. I wanted to hitch a ride but after I got my DBX ready, I went to find the post and I can't. Anyone have the link? Said they were leaving today @ 20:00 I believe.

Hey everyone, so I have this idea of making the FC a bit more fun to obtain, atm I'm a Capt in the Federation navy, and so my next big step is getting my biggest goal in the game that I've patiently been grinding out, because I can only play a little at a time so when i finally reach rank it will be a huge milestone for me...anyway that being said reaching that rank kinda puts the rest of the ranks in the meh category being as its not really much to look forward to, it's just another rank. So with fleet carriers now in play I've decided to take a bit of an RP edge to this...when I reach Admiral I'll be able to obtain my FC, what are your thoughts on this?

I don't recall that Admiral rank is a canon thang in E:D, but I'm no means an expert in the Lore. Perhaps others better versed would be more able to offer a definitive answer?

Aside from canon, I'd say, gopherit. Plenty of experienced RPers & writers here & I'm sure they'd be more than willing to offer more solid advice if needed.

Lore-wise, the ranks we get for the factions are auxiliary ranks. We're recognized for our service and favours. However, we are not official military, nor are we recognized as official nobility.
