Elite roleplay: Q&A and OOC

JB ThreepwoodThere are some surprising things that pop up in the RP pages... explosions, kidnappings, crazy narcoleptics welding in the bar... the thing I wasn't expecting to read today was Creamy saying, "I’d really rather not cause a scene."

In all the time I've been enjoying his stories, I didn't think he'd even realised that that was an option.


It's one of those unspoken options that, at least in the crazy galaxy of Elite, most people don't think about. A lot of the time you can't have that option for a lot of reasons. I hope you're enjoying the story I'm making with Creamy at least.

I was looking forward to the way he set up Irrational Exuberance to be a mix of decadence and debauchery, it would've been interesting to see a part of the bubble that was a bit different, a cleaner kind of seedy... wasn't expecting it to turn into a comicon/ renaissance fayre.

After reading up on the station it felt like there would be these kind of people and so many more. Any where else in the bubble and these people would have been driven off under gunfire is what I feel like.

Roleplay: Banter is in character chatter, like a chat room for pilots. Kyla is making fun of an encounter she had in-universe, which she is doing in-character.



I sound like a broken record, but last time I pointed this out I had a parody account made of me. It's right there in the side bar yet people seem to continually ignore it.

Number two, that was a PM and that page hasn't felt RP-ish for many many comments.
Number three, I shouldn't enjoy making you stamp feet over your hallowed PR Banter page because your an easy target, but we all have our flaws.

Yeah, I recall; I simply had to take a screenshot of that. It was hilarious but I just knew it wouldn't last long.

Unfortunately the joke was lost because I was asleep when it happened and was removed so yeah. I don't think it had the intended effect.

I was worried about you; you sounded miserable before, but now ya back to your usual completely miserable and all is right in the world of INRA again.

As for my transgression in the RP Banter page, I do apologise to everyone, except Simon. You can't point a loaded Will Smith at someone and not expect them to defend themselves.

I don't like spoiling other peoples' enjoyment and I'm sorry. I saw a number by a page, read it and honestly didn't realise I was answering in Banter. I was under the impression I was on Q&A.. .. but then I was hit with a large caliber Will Smith for the hard of thinking, and I went straight to rattling the cage of the misery arse that fired it

I've seen many a transgression in the RP pages that have gone unchallenged, but I get a monkey on my back within minutes. It's nice that I get special attention, a lil picture, and personalised tearing down, but it feels a lil stalker-ish. Ya may wanna think about that and learn to ignore things you don't like reading. It's much better for ya blood pressure.

Now, in all seriousness, you do sound upset and I think YOU need the hug more than the rude fellow shooting unarmed commanders. Lockdown ends for me tomorrow and I'll be there with open arms for you Simon. No judgment, just a yellow hippo-plant growing from a disused garden trowel and a probable-dude hugging it out.

I see what ya saying Rebecca, but I promise you, it's all in fun, I haven't a sower bone in my body for anyone on INARA. Apart from that troll guy that keeps showing up but I blocked him so it's ok.

I should have checked what page I was on before I replied to the posts, that was my mistake. Unfortunately, my attention was drawn to my transgression by Will Smith, so I reply with the same level of sarcasm and silliness using past interactions with Simon as reference.
