BTW, what is the status on the new season of "THE GALAXIES GREATEST JEWEL THIEF"? The fan forums are beginning to think that this hiatus is actually some deep rooted ploy to tinker with the emotions of the viewers on some sort of subconscious level. Getting real crazy over there. Lotta weird crackpot theories popping up. Some even suggest that "The Space Bear" was in fact the final episode of the series but was shown out of order to confuse viewers intentionally. SMH
Truth be told I had a depression and hit a creative blank patch. Although it passed I've struggled to write anything at all since then. The story is mapped out. Spoiler below.
The Space Bear was in fact the end of the First Episode.
Its unlikely to be completed now so I wont be spoiling too much by saying that the "Animal Meat" contract was a cover for some Rare goods smuggling. The Animal Meat in question was a Xihe Biomorphic Pet that had been ordered by the imperator Hadrian as a gift for his Father. (Rich People!) However it had been stolen en-route to Paresa and I was to steal it back.
Unfortunately as I had attracted a substantial amount of heat by that point everyone on board was Wanted and when I captured the "Animal Meat" I also brought on board a few tons of personal weapons and an escape pod.
Skip ahead, the escape pod has one of the Pet thieves in, he escapes and tries to bond with the Polar Bear. The Passengers find the guns and some decide to take over my ship (as if, Casuals) while others realise they might actually come out of this quite rich and try to stop them. At some point the Pet thief gets eaten, we have a mexican stand off on the bridge which is cut short by the arrival of one unbonded Xihe Biomorphic Polar Bear which proceeds to run amok and there we come full circle to the point where the Canopy is blown out and its theme tune time.
At that time Hadrian's father, Harold Duvall was still in the land of the living. In a future episode I was actually going to be saving his life from an assassin believe it or not. Shame I didn't get to write that. There would have been some suggestion he was a mentally unstable clone, much like myself and then I may or may not have had a run in with the Creator himself Dr Hans Walden where by my story may well have come to a close. I did think about starting an NMLA faction when it all kicked off in the beginning but as mentioned just struggled to put anything together. I think for now I will just continue to read other log books and occasionally comment on the RP when I see something I like.
