Artie, how do you feel about the Inara Writers Guild using your marvelous RP website name to spread such intolerance and anger?
Not entirely happy about that, but although the squadron is named this way, it's a squadron as any other without any special privileges or position.

Not true. That I understand something doesn't mean that I endorse, encourage or tolerate it. Two very different things. Also, I haven't endorsed the behavior in the post mentioned, but the knowledge level of said person.

You are right in saying, "could doesn't change the inflection of your tone and insinuation" becuse I was definitely making a clear insinuation.
Rude and insulting people put others off using INARA, so to see a repeat offender endorsed by name thanks to claiming to know the lore of Elite is very disappointing to me.
As to having a page for people that do understand to lore of Elite and don't want to have their enjoyment spoiled by others that don't know or, don't respect the lore, I don't see any problem.

Once again, endorsing somebody's knowledge and endorsing somebody's behavior are two very different things. If you want to be concrete and as said person can confirm, there were multiple of his posts deleted (and that you may not see the deleted posts is due a fact that any deleted posts are pruned over time).

There is no "I know the lore" qualification to earn, so I looked back at the posts of the person held up as an example to take a lead from and can't see how that is a good person to approach. Hence the reason I took issue with the endorsement.
A while ago Arti suggested a lore resource page. I'd like to see that so people can read it all for themselves and come to their own conclusions. The lore for Elite is pretty thin in a lot of arears and very open to interpretation, so I think a page of good resources to refer to is better than asking people that have come to their own conclusions coloured by their own opinion.

That is a great Idea, however a lot of people just don't read them, or instructions, rules or anything before they jump in headfirst.
It would probably be handy to have but it is all available on the interwebs anyway.
Edit: some of it is in books that have a price tag. I wouldn't want those to miss out on their dues.
