Well, it would remain within E:D lore, would it not? Just because it hasn't been done before, doesn't mean it can't or shouldn't be done.
It seems to me to introduce a new avenue for creative expression & yet remaining valid lore-wise.

It depends. There are many popular logbooks and they doesn't necessarily stick with the universe to the latest detail. When the logbook entires are well written and with something that interests people, it will find the audience.

If the character wasn’t immediately shot down upon entering Citi Gateway, and a massive investigation launched as to how such a thing got access to the station, I’d be skeptical of the author’s intent.

I recall their being ammonia-breathers & preferring a colder climate, but I'm going by memory.
An idea, have you considered writing your stories elsewhere, like GoogleDocs, for instance, & then providing a link? That way, it would be a conscious decision for someone to click on it & follow/read/participate, or not. If they did so, the responsibility would be on them. No complaining possible or justified, & you'd be liberated from the narrow confines of what amounts to E:D lore.
I've seen it done elsewhere...
You can already do it by simply putting them up as a log book.
I usually opt for google docs though, since you can't share the draft log book on Inara with someone.
Well, there was the valid point raised earlier that logbooks aren't interactive; they're read-only.
Something different than GoogleDocs, where interactive writing (RP) is possible, as determined by the Doc owner. I know, I did a bit of that in an alternative universe.

You do realize this is the only reasonable response people on a human station in human space can have towards a Thargoid running rampant in said station, right?

Isaiahs comment was probably at the Thargoid and not at your character.
I fail to see how you can't adapt your bio to a human character. I fail to see why that character must be a furry no matter what.
