JB ThreepwoodNow that there is an "Alternative Reality" page I'd like to throw the gauntlet down for you all to give an alternative version of your characters. Just a short little story. It's not a competition but I'd love to see you all flex your creativity and show us what your character would be if something had been different in their past. A Sliding Doors or even a Fatherland moment.
I had a quick little punt with this. It's not great but it's short and may give you an idea of what I mean.
I hope some of you will take up the challenge as I'd love to see what you can all come up within a unique environment.
Honestly... I like the idea of an alternate reality setting to post non-lore-friendly stuff. I might post some side bits there for fun.
And again... if people want suggestions to make potentially non-lore-friendly stuff fit into the Elite universe, please DM me. I'll gladly work with you to find a good space for your ideas.

SakashiroAlternative reality isn't just for lore-breaking stuff. As JB suggested, you can also use it to make your own character do or experience things outside their own lore and answer the question, "what if...?"

I'm being realistic.. its a character flaw of mine. and at this point the law of "you can't teach an old dog new tricks" kicks in.
I've worked on it all my life, and to be fair, I have become somewhat more tactful but this is about as good as its going to get I'm afraid.

I don't buy it. I used to be a pretty big asshole also, as many here can attest, and I've managed to mostly unfuck myself.
