Elite roleplay: Q&A and OOC

But even so, separating OOC logs from gameplay RP logs from narrative RP logs would be nice too.

It's a pretty big deal to put oneself out there when creativity comes into play and I'd like you to know that you are all entertaining and amazing.
Experiencing the stories is as enjoyable to me as reading through commanders logs and even actively playing the game.
While not a huge forum roleplayer myself, once I feel like I have a good enough grip on the flow of doing it more I think I will jump in.
Once more, thanks for being rad and please keep doing it!

Dren DakarI'd just like to let the Role Players know that their posts about their adventures are appreciated.

There are a tonne of creative people on this site. Believe me, they very much love to hear that their stories are being followed. So, thanks for letting them know!

I love a good drink in hand while reading though some of these stories.
Would it be possible for say top 5 shinny award to stay on the front page for the next day? Their own section?
Might be a cool feature to keep the great writings seen by more.

This is actually not the best idea, since it will discourage new RP writers from starting. "How will I ever get enough shinies?" is a question no writer here should ever have to ask.
An alternative idea I've pitched to Artie is to have a "logbook categories" feature, so that dramatic narrative/exploration narrative/non-narrative or whatever categories can be sorted- with sections for each on the main page.

Thank you! I will definitely keep doing it c:
As for getting started, every one of us has a reason we do RP. For some of us (including me), we write because it's therapeutic for us. Some of us just really like weaving and telling stories. Some of us are just unable to resist the temptation of Elite's lore and how skeletal it is- so many things have basic descriptions that leave so many questions, and someone's gotta write the answers eventually. But for getting started, I'd say the biggest reason to RP is that it expands so much in ways the game itself never can. Like, I can land on ELWs in RP.
I'd say start with fleshing out your Commander as a character, and go from there!

Greetings RPers of INARA. We've been hard at work in the core building a player made bubble using fleet carriers, discord and a lot of grit and trit. I'm happy to report we have been successful in the project and the Azura Initiative is a stable entity in the Empyrean Straights offering tritium depots, commodity markets, services and more. But thats not why I'm here. We've also been tooling up an RP section to attract writers and storytellers who find the Azura Initiative theme intriguing. Characters don't even have to be in the core physically to participate as telepresence technology allows many services to be rendered to the AI remotely. So if you are RPing an explorer, or a deep space tritium hauler, or a wayward exile seeking refuge on the frontier, or a medical doctor or scientist or perhaps looking to colonize a distant world or anything in Elite Dangerous come and roleplay with us! We also have the Infernal Explore the Core Expedition stopping into Great Annihilator on the weekend of the 22nd for exploration and events! There is a carrier shuttling from the bubble to this event and back again, see the discord for details!
Thanks for everyone's time

Its time to put to bed the left overs from a previous chapter in Creamys’ story. For that, Creamy is going to need some tough girls or guys that know their way around bodyguard duty, and can tell him how to go about dealing with the untrustworthy in a negotiation situation.
Clandestine meetings with raider agents, avoiding local law enforcement, truth drugs and Jacky Chan-style hijinks are abound in closing out this thread and it will be much more interesting with three or four people contributing.
Drop me a direct message if you would like to be involved, and I look forward to hearing from you.
An intro to his problem.

At what system and station the bar is located?
I might be dumb or blind, but I honestly can't find the info on whereabouts of the place.

That stations name and Creamy seemed made for eachother, so Irrational Exuberance has popped up a few times in Creamys narrative.
