ArtieRudolphus: Great! If do you can update the market for this station manually, via OCR import or via MarketConnector, it will be nice.

RudolphusI would have done that but don't know how to do it

Market Connector is a great little tool. Simple install. It will let you press a hotkey and upload the market data for the station you're currently at to the EDDB site, from where Inara gets data. You can also save the market data to a file on your computer, that you can then upload to Inara (it's as simple as uploading a picture to the Gallery, thanks to Artie).
You can get the Market Connector here: https://github.com/Marginal/EDMarketConnector

Since the patch I have seen and done a lot of high payout "Salvage Experimental Chemicals" missions. Basically you need to recover 1-4 of these things from a particular system and return them to the mission origin. Either scanning the NAV beacon or using an Advanced Discovery Scanner, you get a message as to the planetary body in system near the Signal Source where you can find your salvage. As you fly around, you get a visual and audible warning that you have located your mission target, which gets highlighted in BLUE on the HUD. You lock it, fly to it, drop and put your limpets or scoop to work. Easy!! I have done many of them.
LATELY though, it seems that quite a few are bugged. I have flown around the target area for a LONG TIME (30-40 min) and not found the mission objective. I have left the system and returned, toggled between Private and SOLO and done all sorts of things but for these missions, the mission target NEVER seems to appear. What makes it worse is that sometimes the HIGH PAYING ones (currently have one for $475,000 credits for 4 Tons of Salvage) are FAR from the star. In this case, 84,000 Ls. I still have a couple of days left to complete it, so I will probably go back, but this is so frustrating. Typically I find them within about a 10 Ls radius of the target body, but these last few have totally eluded me.
Anyone have similar experiences, or been able to figure out where they are?
The mission brief didn't specify that "an SRV might be necessary" so I don't think they are on the surface. Up to now they have ALL been in some USS near the target.
Thanks...

Do love the pay though. And I've had a fare number reward materials.

With the SRV missions it's a bit more of "collect 8 things" and only 6-7 are at the signal source forcing you to relog or take off, go into supercruise, then return to the search zone.

JohnthecomieAre you hugging too close to the planet maybe? It always seems to take longer if I'm less than 100ls to the planet.

Hmmm I generally find them much closer, typically I am about 5 ls from the planet and find the Signal about 4 Ls from my position, but I have made very wide orbits trying to find the most recent ones. Will start out a bit farther out and orbit around 100 Ls and see what happens.

I usually head towards the planet my objective is around and wait for my location to change to that planetary body and then throttle down, the signal source usually shows up in under a minute. The only time this didnt work was for the assassination missions where I had to hop out of SC and enter again.
