More like what the impression is of it.

It has its merits, tho its not in the Big-3's class if that's your standard.

Well I bought mine, outfitted it, and am currently flying it through "the loop" - from Engineer to Engineer, modifying everything I've crammed in it. Rigged the way mine is, even an 8A Power Plant is not enough power. Distributor will also need some work, but a 6A seems up to the task.

Handling is... it's an 1100 ton pancake, it flies like an 1100 ton pancake. I don't mind it - I'm use to flying large ships, and am a Type-9 regular. In combat it's pretty impressive with 3 Medium Beams, 4 Large Multicannons, and 2 small seeker missiles, with a Class 8 shield generator, 4 shield boosters, and a Class 7 Fighter bay.

Sounds and overall feel of it is nice. Boost is crisp and clean.

Initial Impression: I'm liking it.

My next T-10 will be built for Thargoid combat, but it's going to take me a couple of days to cough up another half-billion to build and outfit.

I don't buy it. Those ships look to have SLF bays. Looks to me like the Alliance Navy is running out of warships.

Isn't that how the Alliance runs anyway? Repurpose other ships to do a job they don't do normally?

Helloo. I am making my first real trip outside of human space today. I am traveling to a neutron star just to see what it looks like lol I was wondering if there is anything I should know before I get there. Thanks

Gimbals or turrets? It cannot possibly turn fast enough to have fixed.... can it?

Don't drop out of supercruise in the plumes. If you do, pick a star, boost towards it, FA OFF, THROTTLE 0%, start the jump and try to keep pointing at it, keep FA OFF and THROTTLE 0% or you won't be able to jump. Boosting once when it's charged is ok to get yourself moving right.

Exploration's pretty easy. Don't get too close to a star while scooping fuel (remember KGBFOAM!) and pay attention to the gravity rating of anything you might try to land on and you should be fine. You don't even need weapons.

So I could have saved weight without my weapons? ah lol oh well. So no aliens or pirates or anything out here?

Thargoids are concentrated around the Pleiades. Out to a certain distance outside of the Bubble you may encounter the occasional pirate, but it gets empty quick. There's little reason to install weapons for a trip outside of the Bubble.

I only put two in, but they were large hard points lol I suppose its all a learning process.

You can escape the jet plume by pointing at its exit point if possible, but the turbulence does make it difficult.

If visiting a Neutron or a Dwarf, make sure to be mindful how close the exclusion zone is, and steer clear of it. If you drop down in that with the jet it gets dicey fast.

To use a Neutron boost, I tend to fly towards the jet then point out away from the star as I get close to charge, so I don't risk landing in the star itself.

Lol this sounds awful. I really hope my ship doesn't explode out here.

That's the reason it's wise cq prudent  to take a AFMS with you...no weight, and it repairs your FSD drive (FSD will be stressed a lot in those situations)
