Hey Thinder, sorry, I was a little unclear: the update works on inara, albeit always with a time delay. Only on EDSM does it not work.

I'm not sure we should troubleshoot a different tool here (as opposed to just using/discussing it). Perhaps, if we do continue discussing it, we'd need to move this to another sub-forum (if Artie wants the conversation to continue here at all)?

You might find the EDCD Community Dev Discord helpful, especially the general-tools area, as it has channels for various tool support.

AHI dragged with me a full set of weapons. Completely useless.

There are pirates at Beagle Point, I kid you not.

Any place with a visitor beacon, no matter how remote, spawns tourist ships and pirates. When I went to Beagle Point with my Courier, I had light-weight pulse lasers equipped and actually used them to blow up a few ships. The stakes are high when you're that far away from a shipyard and loaded with exploration data.

Rayman.i can reach 86ly if i put fuel tank 3c instaed 5c but thats asking for getting stuck around non scoop stars, looking for Raxxla or some weird stuff and calling fuel rats

I downsize fuel tanks on almost all my ships and make them just large enough so I can do two full-distance jumps. Why two? Because in some extremely rare cases the galaxy map promises you a scoopable star where there is none. If you have enough fuel to jump back, that's not an issue.

People end up calling the fuel rats because they make mistakes using the route plotter. For example, they plot a route with a non-scoopable star at the end, or they plot a route with jet cone boost but forget to verify that the destination can also be reached without it (which is essential for the return trip). That's how they get stuck.

... and if you want to experience another 400k(456 to be precise) cruise to reconquer a system you can go right to Desurinbin, where the Aegis team thought it was a great idea to reactivate the (.72G) planetary station on B 4 instead of the one on A 1 A which is also .3G.

They are sadists. And possibly also masochists.

Or, it does have a scoopable star but it is 600K ls away from the main star.

In general, though, I always top off fuel and make a point to never go below 25% capacity. Most of the time I use the accelerate and stop method of fueling so I can do DSS scans while still taking on fuel at the max rate.

You must be new... wait, you are not. I thought it's common knowledge that they suck at testing and or migrating new versions to live, causing weeks and weeks of server problems... every single time.
Something is not right in their "dev to live" process.

In worst scenario if they have materials, they're fine, The Formidine Rift there was a region full of reject stars, only red dwarfs. Had make sure to fuel up to max. nothing but ice planets with one or two exo signals
