MoarDanI'm struggling to think of a ship name for me type-6, any suggestions?

Think of someone friendly, peaceful, and hard working, like Rosie (the Robot from the Jetsons), Elsie (the Bordon Cow), or Velma (from Scooby-Doo)...

I am always partial to giving a vehicle an affectionate, often female name that endears them to me.

Jack Dekerdt I do not object to the interdiction itself--cost of doing business. My point is, space is a big damn place and there are a number of ways to approach destinations--odd that 9/10 runs are interdicted. Either allow transports proper defense or tune up the NPC AI. Again, not opposed to the interdiction itself, just the unrelenting number of them, really, regardless of the LY/Ls distance.
I fully agree. The interdiction is not the problem right now, never was. But the number and the useless nature are the issue. If I have something valuable, yes I can expect some hungry pirates, but when my hold is empty and they blow me to pieces, what's the use?

I am not a bounty hunter, I have no fun in that, but I do love the exploring of good trades and trading itself, so I fear I have to park E:D as a whole until the 'intelligence' of the AI get back to normal again, this is no fun this way. At least, for me.

NPC AI (at 'east around trade interdictions, and to some extent, mining interdictions) has been wonky since late 1.3 when I came onboard about a month before 1.4. A great many traders were, and are still, hoping to see some sanity restored to the interaction but I haven't seen it, even in Horizons, still an issue. It would seem a simple check to perform if a target is carrying cargo, we can do it...so it seems nonsensical that the AI cannot make the same check.

The joy I take in BH comes from getting back at the porch d*cks in the RESs that go after traders and miners especially when they are empty. I get in some decent trade runs when I can in my Clipper but at least I can defend myself when trading or running trade missions in the Clipper or Scout.

General query regarding SRV experience....

Does anyone experience their 'DRIVE ASSIST' button and dinger sound constantly going on/off? Driving me crazy...'ding, ding, ding, ding....', ugh. Set to on/off in settings doesn't make a difference. Thanks.

I had no problems with that, I use drive assist to maintain constant speed while scanning and not bumping on the hills, but for my experience, is working smoothly.

I have indeed flown the Viper Mk IV. It's not a bad ship. Better than the Cobra Mk IV in my opinion. While the Cobra IV has improved weapon placement, the Viper IV does not. Still in the same place as the Mk III. Pretty much the only thing I dislike about the Viper IV is that it's not as agile as the Viper III. Still not a bad ship though. I like it but prefer my Courier to the Viper series of ships.

I have a mkiv but haven't had the chance to tet it yet and I was wondering if 2 class 2 railguns and 2 class 1 beams was an effective loadout, it has 1,495 hull armour which im surprised about

Anyone notice the "awards" for the snowglobes is a bit low? Top 5% earns 350,000 CR. It's as though they've forgotten a zero.
