That it could be. But Arthur Tolmie made a point of the fact that it would only apply to the bubble (core worlds) at release. I would far rather see it include the Colonia region, and maybe it will eventually.

Good question! It looks like a huge undertaking for individual Cmdrs, much easier managed by groups. Perhaps it is part of Frontier's intention to encourage group play? After all, group activities hold player's interests longer (at least that's my experience).

RawnuWhat minor factions would you choose to expand their reach? Or are you not bothered by that stuff at all?

ArtieAllow me to mention one small, but very important thing - the ships and ship builds are primarily meant to provide fun for their owners. If somebody want to have fun with PvE frag cannons build, there is absolutely no point to recommend a completely different set of weapons or test it against PvP opponent. It's like somebody asking for suggestions for a dirt bike and are told that they should buy a supercar instead.

Artie: I'm going through Powerplay 2.0 and am now Ranked 6, but trying to scan Mehaships the way I am instructed to doesn't work.

I have already scanned 4 ships and show no progress, have you heared of a bug or something that prevent to make progress this way? (Aisling Duval)

I noticed there were some problems with scanning megaships after the PP 2.0 release, but I don't know if the issues still persist or were resolved. Maybe other commanders will know more.

Thanks for your reply, Good thing I have one week to sort this out, I just completed Ships and Wake Scan in about 10mn, it's pretty straightforward, so I think of a bug for the Megaships I'll try support to be sure.

Make sure you're scanning the Ship Log Uplink and not just the megaship itself. I don't think they mention that in the assignment but scanning the ship log uplink is what grants merits and thus progresses the assignment.

...so my (non-RP) take is: Frontier is about to ditch the entire Titan War thing by sending Cocijo into an all-out suicidal banzai (Raijin would've been a more proper candidate) where it will certainly get subjected to a couple of nights of vicious torpedoing, with fatal outcome. So down it goes, for the PP2.0 to (officially) rise and shite as the new (and only) 'favourite'.

...or, they send it to wipe out the Sol system and then the entire Bubble. Better start colonising those empty parts of The Bubble to make it more fun for everyone.

Which would be a real bummer. However, given how many gameplay mechanics have been developed for the Thargoid war, I doubt it. I mean you could try to use these mechanics for PP2.0, I just don't see how (Thargoid combat, space and ground, are very different). So I would assume that we might see an effort to take the war to the Thargoids, as Rayman speculated. This could be interesting if it combines exploration and combat.
