Over half a billion spent so far on her, and still more engineering to go, just because she's the prettiest boat in the shipyard.
AHDo stronghold carriers have some type of rank or allegiance requirements?
I presume its power play and you need to be pledged to the controlling power.

Also, the PLASMA CHARGERS seems to have a mind of their own, they fire even when the trigger is fully depressed, I'll investigate this to make sure I reduce overheating.
So at the end of a sortie I often end up with structural damage, what I do now, is to Reboot and Repair to make sure I don't have to crawl to the pad during landing on the Carrier.

In any case, the Premiums are well equipped with A Grade modules, if a player wants to change those, it's easy to do, each player can fit their ships as they like.
There's no point whining about how it must be done, nobody paid for my Carrier and my ships, most of them fully engineered, but I know a thing for sure; if it had been easier, it wouldn't be so rewarding.
I just come back from a CZ sortie with my Krait MK II I blasted everything that moved, from Viper to Anaconda and didn't need to use a single Shield cell Bank, although it was a comparatively easy one, that's says a lot about the ship but also about the work I have put on to make of her a Combat ship as they should be.
It goes for every type in this game, they all have their forte and weaknesses, and I really appreciate the development effort put into them, now we have more variety with more to come, I can't wait for the next one.

ArtieSo you are complaining about something that was never an intention. Any regular ship you buy for credits is similarly useless.
Untrue or misleading information given to you to get you to buy something that's definition of false advertising to me that's exactly what ARX PMKII was. There was the intention to sell ARX so to say to make money...

Except that data proves that the claim of the Python MK II being superior as a combat ship are not unfunded, that's one grievance out of the equation.
If people don't like this ship, fine, but it's not a reason to say that what was claimed wasn't true, data doesn't lie, the Python MK II has superior Combat potential than other ships in her class, only in a furball would she score lower than the Krait but again, performances are a matter of compromise.
The Class 6 Power Plant saves weight and so the Fer-de-Lance, Mamba and Python MK II get their performances from this conceptual design, as far as I know the FDL was the reference in PvE for a reason, it's one vs one most of the time, but again in a furball she wouldn't last long when fire at by several ships at once, speed and agility doesn't compensate for strong shields and killing the target faster helps.
Those are facts based on data, easy to compare.... FDL Python MK II

Jawohl DuffalThinder, you are trying to dissuade. The case here is false advertising not ships per say.
I'm making a valid point, if they did indeed advertise the Python MK II as superior is wasn't a false claim.

You are reacting to something completely different (the "problem" that the loadouts for the ships bought for ARX are basic). Either way, although I am not sure if the claim "Python Mk II is a superior combat ship" was actually made by FDev (as far as I remember they wanted to position it to compete with the PvP ships by some of their streams, but I cannot dispute for certain they truly said the first), the constant spinning on: "They lied to us! Bad, bad Frontier!" during any even remotely related opportunity starts to be tiresome.
(And I will move this whole discussion into the Rant corner where it belongs later on.)

I spent quite a bit of time mining for some high end materials this week. I transferred them to my carrier instead of selling to myself. I jumped in the game today and much of the material I mined is gone. Nothing is set to sell in the carrier. Is there something I've done wrong?

Equiped with 4 X 2B GUARDIAN PLASMA CHARGER [FIXED], the best my FDL can do is 2.7 and 80. in Damage and Armour Percing...
That's why the Krait MK II is a beast in a CZ, sure, she doesn't have the combat Persistence of the Corvette, less Base Shield and Armour, less capacity to recharge the shields, but she has enough and is agile enough to take down any other ship type FAST and get out of dodge when the furball get tough.
Even with Standard ammo, I saw a ship go one salvo k-boom with 17% HP remaining and I'm sure those weapons can do more.

I don't believe you've done anything wrong. More people have been reporting similar issues recently. A few days ago, 100 units of Graphene and carbon plate I intended to sell through my FC bartender mysteriously vanished on me when I transferred them. Yet, common low-end items like aerogel transfer without a problem. Go figure.
