I haven't tested this solution but it looks interesting, a 100% increase in Jump Range using Synthesis...

Synthesis
In theory you could save a lot of fuel using synthesis over your usual Jump range unless fuel consumption is also doubled.

For someone needing to get somewhere fast, like a fuel rat, the FSD injections can come in handy, but otherwise I do not consider it viable for regular travel.

The only time I use FSD injection is for single jumps when I am far above or below the galactic plane and there is a star I want to investigate that is outside of my normal jump range. Other than that, I consider FSD injections a waste of resources and do not see it as a useful for normal travel, only emergency travel. The time it takes to top off the tanks while fuel scooping is negligible for non-emergency travel.

To me, Raw Materials have been a commodity for a long time, in fact since I started doing Bounty Hunting seriously, since I use to reload my 4A MULTI-CANNON with Premium ammunition, even loading them before departure as part of my check list, that's when I don't need to engineer a ship and I just done 3 of them in a row and there's another one in the pipeline.

On the other hand it seems that I have been unable to make it work, do you need to select Fuel Boost in the Galaxy Map Option? My rescue ship (Krait Phantom). has a 72.30 Ly Max Jump Range, doubling that could be useful.

I tested it over a two jump distance (Robigo Run), it seems to be working over a distance not superior to twice your Jump Range, after that you need to reselect your waypoints. Fuel consumptions also seems to be lowered by <> 1/5 to 1/4.

alcyone7Just managed to sneak in before the servers went offline (again) to find that player #1 in the PowerPlay 2.0 leadboard managed to acrue more than 1,000,000 merits in a week. So basically if they played 24/7, that equates to just under 100 merits per minute. How the hell is that possible?



These were the players who had to submit exobiology data on a large scale. FDEV actually wanted to reset the ranks.
The top player (top agent) in my power is level 128. I also see it this way, that it is actually impossible to level up that quickly.


Well they were sitting on a hell of a lot of exo-data... clearly waiting for the payday!

Subtle new addition for PP2.0 (or maybe I never noticed it before) but in the hangar lobby of the main starport, there are portraits of the leader for the faction controlling or exploiting a system.

Yes! It has the best SC agility of all ships, besting even the Clipper. It also has good internal for collection limpets if you think about farming manufactured materials. Here's a build for that: https://edsy.org/s/vWVWlb8 .

If you want to also do encoded mat farming and maybe check out your favorite HIP system for raw mats farming AND probably sneak to a Guardian site as well, here's the build for that: the MAT ALLROUNDER !!!

I am lost and looking for an answer. How can I deliver sealed contracts from Lambda-1 Tucanae and deliver them to the same system?!... I loaded the amount at Jones Dock and landed on Riess Hub and could not unload/deliver. My next attempt was to pick up at Riess and deliver to Jones -- same thing, I cannot unload. When I picked up the sealed contracts in Cubeo/Medupe and delivered to Riess, I could unload them and got some merits, but (!!) the weekly assignment is still not complete and shows zero progress.

Please help! What am I supposed to do in this assignment?

I needed FSD injections to take my Courier from Beagle Point to Oevasy SG-Y d0, but they're not only useful to increase jump range, they also reduce the amount of normal fuel consumed by shorter jumps. So in case you get stuck low on fuel in a system without a scoopable star, an injection may enable you to jump out anyway.

Haha, yes! (re the Python, always gives me US station wagon feels when I'm in it, super boring)

The Mandalay looks hot, flies ace, gives you lots of opportunities what to do with it. I'm having a blast grilling my Hydras


Just wondering what to do with the distributor. Charge enhanced super conduits is the usual way go to, but it drains fast. Maybe I try super capacitators and see how that goes. Slower recharge but higher top? Or go weapon focused for the AX build? Who needs SYS anyway, and ENG power is great without pips in that ship.

I think u need go for weapon focused, u want to keep shooting with beam lasers and shot as many guardian weapons as possible, right?

Yup, checked the stats in EDSY and weapon focused is the way for my AX Mandalay. Will do this over the weekend and test it. Given how strongly the stats change, this would make the Mandalay even more of an AX fighter.
