It dried out 24 hours ago :S And I've made 7kT after that with zero supply.

Actually I am in Top 10 now. Will work on it further tonight but tomorrow I will be back in the bubble.

That will change once all the FC arrive tomorrow.

A FC would carry around 15kT. I plan to complete this tonight and go back to the bubble to get the easy 75% there, plus my goal is not Top 10 in Colonia but top 75%

A FC will travel at least 16 hours to Colonia. Mr. Vohr will do those 22k ly in just a second.

Do you not have a FC ? Park it near supply station, do 10-20 short trips , jump FC close to delivery stations and repeat 10-20 short trips.

My Cutter has no fuel scoop.

Full Disclosure: Jensen Gateway in 64 Ceti has a seemingly endless supply of thermal cooling units at a price of 3,112 Cr per container. With the Cutter I can ship 760 of those to Alcor in 6 jumps (5 jumps unladen) without refueling. Profit is 20.4M Cr per shipment. My fuel tank is almost empty on arrival. Without FSD booster and mass manager the trip would likely exceed my fuel range.

I did the first few shipments through my FC, but it feels more tedious because it doubles the number of docking sequences. And finding a good parking spot near Alcor is a matter of luck.

I find it difficult to believe that you can can do 11 jumps in less time than it takes you to dock and unload at a carrier (which if placed well is ls away from the source station) and return. If so, git gud at docking with your Cutter Scrubashiro!

Seriously though, that's the math involved. "Can you do the jump trip to destination system arrival point and return faster than the pickup, unload and return to the source station?" As for 'getting lucky' with FC placement in Alcor. Pretty much ANY location you get will be as good or better than arrival point starts. The only issue is when the system is full and you can't get in at all. Something like this will probably have room in the system within 15 minutes.

Doing frequent dock/undocks can be tedious. Definitely not recommend that if you load/unload a FC parked in 10 sec SC.

It really depends on the ship. When I was grinding ranks to get the Cutter, I did courier missions with the Courier (duh!). Jump, dock, jump, dock, jump... Pretty much the same activity, but with a nimble and responsive ship that can still enter and leave stations even while there are two Belugas hugging one another inside the mailslot.

Docking the Cutter is like, "OK, the station is over there, and I'm currently going at 200m/s, so this is probably the moment where I should start slowing down, because coming to a complete halt takes about 3 minutes... Now I'm leaving the station, going 95m/s towards the mailslot, oh shit , there's a T-10 approaching on the other side , slow dooooown..."

Let's be honest. A station with only interior docking and a single access point for all traffic is a very poor design, even for sci-fi.
