Yuna SakashiroSometimes I feel like the game is trolling me. Interdicting another player, reticle is dead center on target, ring is white all the time -- but other player is still winning.

I have no idea what's causing this. Is it because my interdictor is D-rated? Is there some other variable I don't know?


Great. The guy can send me DMs, but when I reply, no valid transmission target, even though he's in the same instance and right in front of me. I can see him but not message him. But he can. Wtf?

Sometimes when I target him, those three triangles indicating ship orientation don't show up. And he evades every interdiction.

This game is so broken...


Comm system is kinda icky for some time now. Sometimes, I only join the system channel once I jumped OUT of it...

Hm. I just accidentally flew through a neutron jet cone at a right angle. Shot straight through it, with no harm done. I thought that might be disastrous? Guess not.

Flying into them the wrong way, towards the neutron star, is supposed to be fatal, isn't it?

Just do not drop from supercruise in the jet cone. It is dead sentence.

Else this is the basics of neutron highway and supercharging FSD.

I remember how I did this first time.
"Oh, what could happen if I get inside that cone? I have a heckload of shields, heatsinks, all that stuff... Supercharge? What kind of... Oh crap just look at that jump radius!"

yeah the jump range is awesome each time i see it and if u get used to supercharge your fsd it´s just procedure..

As long as you don’t enter the exclusion zone you should be OK. Flying towards the Neutron star will likely take you into the zone.
Beware of white dwarf stars, occasionally the exclusion zone extends almost to the tip of the flare - nasty beggars

How has the current credit making meta changed? I'm returning to the game after a long hiatus to prepare for my account to be transferred to pc. Before the transfer happens I'm hoping to somehow amass another 1.5 - 2 billion credits so I can purchase a fleet carrier to have ready for Odyssey.

Just hop to HIP 22460 and find out if thargoids care if you looking for that engagements. If this spreads out to every human populated system a lot of cardboard ships will face rebuy screen.

Thanks, that's the info I was looking for. It just caught me by surprise, sort of a gulp moment, although really it was over and done with before I knew it. And yeah, I've avoided white dwarves so far as the consensus has it the risk-reward ratio isn't worth it. I guess I should try it out, at least once, at some point, to add to the been-there-and-done-that dept.

With that recent Galnet announcement, Fears Rise of Thargoid Expansion, what I envisioned was Thargoids laying claim to their own systems, quite possibly a part of the Bubble, that would then serve as a zone where those looking for AX fights can go, whereas others should avoid it or tread carefully in the vicinity. Could lead to all sorts of story developments, CG's, possibly to be overturned again altogether eventually, etc.

Since I can't seem to find my crystal ball and am moreover a newbie on the block, who's to say though if that's where we're headed.
