I have a bounty on my head for accidentally killing the wrong person, now everywhere I try, they say I have too much notoriety and won't let me hand myself in . How can I resolve this

hah! Today I get mad on one faction. In 30 minutes I got notoriety 10 Also federal agents hunted me. Everything was fine until some cobra MK III showed up. It was barelly imposible hit it with plasmas.

SPQR MikeThis may be a covered question, but I play horizon on Xbox. I have linked up everything so INARA updates my profile. The issue I am having is with the squadrons. My squadron's name is added, but I’m the only person on the roster. What am I missing here?

commanders have to join your squad on inara as well, privacy and such.
have them look it up here and send you an application.
they arent added automatically since some commanders may not want their information posted on websites and such.... regardless of how minute it may seem to many, its their information its their choice.

Robert ClarkHey, just wondering if the scope mod would be useful for the AR-50, still not sure what to put on it other than headshot damage, stability and faster handling.



greater range, higher ac or faster reloading i would take instead of the scope. the scope zooms in sure, but the viewing angle getting smaler, i prefer a decent overview to the area im aiming.

Well, on ships we can see clear numbers on weapons.

There is the maximum range; quite clear the distance the projectile will go.
But it won't do 100% damage all the way!

So we have the effective range, the breaking point between 100% damage and the "damage falloff start".

Ship weapons can be engineered with "long range"; this mod does increase the breaking point up until it reaches the maximum range.
So after the mod, the weapon will do 100% damage all the way.

Most of us expect the mod for handheld weapons called "greater range" to do something similar.

Most of us expected common sense in development but I think it is obvious by now that Odyssey is developed by different* developers.

Yeah I saw some posts regarding greater range neither increasing overall projectile range or speed but wasn't sure.

Yeah, I can confirm, that the projectile velocity does not change.
And I haven't tested on a difference in damage on longer ranges yet.

So it comes down to the answer, that nobody really knows, what "greater range" on handheld weapons does exactly.
(except for maybe a handful of people at FDevs)

It increases the effective range by 50%, as also stated in the blueprint on Inara. I think somebody even tested it and it works as expected. The only question is if the increased range of when the damage falloff kicks in is worth a mod slot or not. Up to every shooter.

like artie wrote it will increase the range double, it´s really nice to play with that ´long range´ weapon, makes fun. with thermal weapons get the shield down and then the final punch with the long range AR-50 and the target is gone it takes only a few seconds.. my TK Aphelion has Greater Range, Faster Handling, Higher Accuracy and Stability and one of my Karma AR-50 has Greater Range, Faster Handling, Higher Accuracy and Reload Speed.. switching the weapons is very fast, often the target is dead before it can react, hehe. to much firepower at once. if you get used to the switching process you can kill 3-4 guys in a row before you have to reload the AR-50.. aiming the head save bullets.. i will test the ´greater range´ difference with another AR-50 (without the mod) the next days.. will report soon..

I bought 2 Karma L-6 and both with this mods applied:
Magazine Size
Stowed reloading
Stability
Faster Handling

Absolutely beasts, until you have munitions in your weapons.

Effective range is the point after which damage falloff begins. Greater range just increases the distance before that starts to happen. It ends up being the equivalent of a damage increase for anything beyond the default effective range out to 200m.
