You don't say! How did I miss that? (Maybe because holding down various other buttons brings up sub-menus on controller. There must have been something not prompting me to try this.)

I went back to check, but ofc the instance had changed. Will try again next time I come across it. Thanks!

Applying e-breaches requires holding the key. Frontier actually made that mechanics few updates back and pushed it to all illegal looting to add a gameplay AKA you can be spotted. After a rightful outcry from players they have removed it and left this only to applying e-breaches.

It leaves the question why I couldn't pick up the dropped breach. If that involves holding the action button X for picking up, that does indeed open the commander wheel. Good thinking on FDev's part.

Picking up is primary action key. Applying breach is secondary one.

Yep except it won’t, I tried with SRV cannons and various guns on foot and it just lays there glowing. I even relogged and same thing happened.

I think someone else reported on it recently, then somebody else suggested it's a known bug. Which may explain why you can't interact with it.

Unless, of course, they are coming...

KayeM_TVNah, AFAIK if there's a gas giant with ammonia based life in the system there's a chance for them to spawn.
