Planetary scan jobs are just such an odd beast. At low levels you can sometimes stealth it, but other than that it seems there's nothing to it but >incur fine >get the heck out of there > go hand in mission & pay off bounty. I mean wtf.

Unless, of course, I'm missing something?

It's an excruciatingly boring job, but sometimes someone's gotta do it, I guess. (They tend to be a favorite choice for factions' follow-up missions, it seems.)

Hi a question re Engineers. I unlocked only level one with Felicity Farseer as I didn't have the necessary components. I now have the componetns for levels 2 and 3. Do I have to go back to Felicity Farseer to opent thse mod's or can I do them elsewhere?

Leveling engineer's access can be done only on site. Remote engineering do not progress engineering level.

If you're anything like me, prepare to be doing the runaround along the lot of them half a gazillion times. And I ain't done yet, either

(And then I haven't even begun building a fleet. You'll be looking at different builds, while you can only pin blueprints for one build, isn't it. How do people handle this, except for running said carousel, over and over ad infinitum until you've lost all will to live please god help me?)

This is why you use optimal way to pin receipts. I have 50 ships. Main engineering is done remotely. When I am done I visit few engineers to apply experiment effects which can be applied even by level 1 engineering access. And most of the engineers can apply multiple experimentals. Usually, visiting 3-5 engineers for a ship.
