Exobiology is my new favorite pastime in ED.

I just went to a random system in the bubble and scanned a total of seven life forms on two planets. Vista Genomics' initial offer for the data was 23.7M credits. Not bad, I thought and clicked the sell button. To my surprise they then added first discovery bonuses on top of it. The total payout was, I kid you not, 76M credits! More than 10 million per species scanned. More than two weeks of upkeep for a fully kitted fleet carrier.

This is the new early-game money maker that beats everything else. All you need is an Artemis suit and the stock Sidewinder. Starter cash in Odyssey is 250K, so you can pick up the suit right away. I didn't even put a surface scanner on the ship, because usually the whole planet turns out blue anyway.

Guardian sites aren't working for me. And i can't get the terminal to accept the relic. Ik what I'm going I've done it before. I rly want shard cannons cus a dude using them decimated a goid.
I've tried odyssey and horizons my friend couldn't do it either so: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/56567
Made a ticket.
Cus I also want other Guardian things I haven't unlocked yet.
Is anyone having any luck with Guardian grind if you've tried.

Also I have a billion credits in my bank cus of this Thargoid war loving it.

Thanks for that info, another thing to add to my arsenal of things for the newbies to do.

QUESTION: If we go to a system that has been already overtaken by goids, how do we start attacking? will there be conflict zones to grind the system status for a change in the next cycle? I guess my question is, What is the process by which we retake a lost system?

You drop anywhere in the system and Thargoids start coming. No CZs, no stations, no NPC. Only you, your friends and the murder flowers.

thanks for that info boss. I definetly feel like we need to go on the offensive at least for taranis storm. als QUESTION: Do we have any info on what triggers taranis to " drop shields " so we can take a look at him. What i mean to sya is, do we know what conditions will trigger taranis to turn off that blast wave so we can see what is at the center of it.

Quick question - now that iahve ground all the mats for some Guardian weapons - I want to buy The Modified Gauss Cannons - Iknow a tech broker, but which one?

I hope, you are using Inaras search option, right?
Make sure to keep the "max price age" very low.

How come I get killed every single freaking time when I get interdicted by a thargoid? Happens even when all I try to do is boost away and jump back into hyperspace....

Thargoid Interceptors do 450m/s except for the Basilisk variant which do 530m/s.

Your anaconda - 260m/s. Aka all of them will do circles around your slow Anaconda. More than that - all interceptors have FSD inhibition factor of 30 so they will prevent all jumps unless you gain some range.

So, your only hope to survive is a High Wake ( jump to another system) as this is not a subject to mass lock.
