human wepons working on them but only 25% of the normal damage they do, if i remember right

What would be the best ship for thargoids engagements both scouts and interceptors, I don't want to waste time of building 2 ships? I tried to use DBX cold build for it, but its heat signature at 11-13% did not help much, it appears that speed is determining factor to survive through perimeter blockade (hyperdiction) and further in the engagement zone. Though I managed to kill one scout out of 4 using just beam and regular gimball multi-cannons but 3 others finished me up since I lost 90% of my hull after escaping from interceptor in the perimeter blockade. Thanks

Hardpoints and modules depends on what you going to fight.

I guess you will start with scouts. For that you will need AX multi-cannons, fast regen shield and decontamination limpets to take care of caustic damage from missiles and "death breathe".

Once you are ready to up your game and move to Interceptors you will drop shield, swap MC for gauss cannons and getting repair limpets and AFMU to deal with the damage.

AXI Meta AX Chieftain build (This one works for scouts too but gauss/rails have some learning curve.)

i like the krait mk II very much for ax stuff. very fast, agility is also good and 3 mark 3 hardpoints + 2 mark 2 hardpoints. and the hardpoints are good for using gauss or simular stuff. class 7 powerplant and power distributor gives u enough power..

Well, I have tried those new gimballed AX MCs. I've managed to kill 4 clops around ground CZ in Solo. The hardest part is to stay in 500m range for the xeno scan to complete - after that it is a joke.

I am talking about mechanics. Once scanned the gimbles do all the work. You can keep firing them while using heat vent, no need for heatsink or whatsoever.

Clops are joke but this can be reproduced with any variant.

P. S. I may go to Pleiades to try with other variants but then I will need to deal with the swarm.

I'm sure that you can't do that so easily with high-tier variants. They have more armour and regen.
