I'm afraid not. Camera always starts with default position/rotation values.

Hi Commanders
Is there any way to filter the galaxy map to only show boom systems, a
or an add on that will help?

November CoffeeWhere is everybody in a Thargoid invaded system?

I suspect a lot of people are playing solo due to the bug that causes most kills not to count if there are other people in the instance.

ArtieAbout the damaged/repaired/under attack stations - it seems I have forgot to put some updates up, sorry about that. It's now there, so please use the Nearest search and set the desired station state under economy (it's for "historical" reasons there, I may put an extra dropdown for the station state there in the future), for example like this list of the stations under attack. But the list on the Thargoid war page is updated, too.

@Artie: Hmm, how about station type icons on that list?

@JoeD246: This search is what you’re looking for. Right now it lists only one Orbis station.

You mean in-game, or on Inara?

On Inara, you click in the “Controlling faction state” field and select “Boom” from the drop-down menu.

In the game, you select Map Mode icon (5th from the top) in the left column, then the State icon (also 5th from the top) from the pop-up column, then clear all radio buttons except Boom.

November CoffeeAre most commanders fighting in the AX conflict zones? Or is it maybe they're playing solo/private?

I have recently been in both Chibis and Jeng at planetary settlements, playing in open. Both locations were well represented. Generally six to ten cmdrs present. But yeah, most will be playing in private groups due to bugs and ganks. Certainly, I found issues at both locations with CZ hanging, kills not counting toward rank etc.

LOL@ the antixeno community efforts. Every week we fill that purple bar up on whatever system is focus, then the system stays in recovery for 3 weeks and barely makes it halfway before being attacked again, meanwhile, we go back and forth for the couple of systems that are under attack thinking we are doing great but around 5-10 systems fall under thargoid control somewhere else every week. A few random commanders like myself dare go into infested systems and hunt there, but its not enough of us to make a dent on any of those systems progress bars. Bottom line, everyone is tunnel visioned into defending ports under attack, not a single squadron or entity has made a solid effort to go on the offensive instead of defending constantly. If that is not worrying think about this...they are now putting under threat systems within less than 100ly from deciat. When the bubble disappears completely i already have a picked bug-out location somewhere across the galaxy 35kly away.

If so then somewhere in the game files there has to be a value to be changed for the default camera position...can it be done?

Yeah, in theory, writing a hack is possible, you have to find the place where the coordinates and rotation are being stored, and then manipulate them somehow, via changing the file or modifying those variables 'on the go', in the memory. Some reverse engineering and programming skills.

btw ROFL, 70 TAURI is under attack again, I wonder if it may have to do with the fact that it is surrounded by green (thargoid) systems.

Way beyond my skill set in programing.

Does anybody need a hand with scout support? I am currently at HIP 2422 and available for a couple hours from 6pm-9pm eastern time.

If it's any consolation they announced on the frameshift live stream yesterday that they are making changes in next week's patch to rectify those issues. The devs acknowledge that the progress bars are not working properly, they also intend to look at changing the weekly reset mechanic that has frustrated everyone involved in anti xeno activities.
So - fingers crossed, huh?

Greetings CMDR's,
I have a modest contribution to make which I hope may assist some CMDR's in their grind for Engineering mats. In the last few days I've observed a correlation between Black Box Salvage Ops and good numbers of High Grade, Encoded and Degraded Emissions. This circumstance has occurred too many times now for it just to be good luck. I usually accept missions which offer rewards of Biotech Conductors and Exquisite Focus Crystals, and having scanned the local nav beacon, I then zip round and hoover up all the mats from the signal sources before collecting the black boxes. This has been particularly useful for gathering grade 5 mats such as Military Super Capacitors, Military Grade Alloys, Core Dynamics Composites, Imperial Shielding etc., which would otherwise be expensive to acquire through cross trading. Conversely, if lower grade mats are required, they have a high cross trade value.

are the Experimental Weapons Stabilizer only available to those who have done a community goal? I was too busy killing 50 medusas for the xeno-hunter tier here. Been searching where they are but they were not available everytime i arrived. Also is it a utility or optional module?
