Do you have the specific FSD blueprint pinned (Increased Range or Shielded, etc)?
If you have the mats and unlocked the engineer, then this should work at least from G1 to G2.
If you haven't pinned that blueprint then yeah, you'll need to revisit.

Don't forget, you need to do a few more runs on a specific engineer, to unlock higher levels of that modification.
You do not gain higher levels, when doing it per bluepring from a remote workshop.

So, yes, go and visit the engineer all the time, until you've reached the highest level.

Hey,

The Enginners have levels, 5 max for the good ones, in order to up the level to level 2 you need to upgrade at the enginners hq.

hope this helps o7

Hey all,

I am decommissioning my Fleet Carrier as I am turning my focus to single ship exploration. I have Tritium for sale on the ship for 30,000 and about 8000 units. Get it while its available. Carrier name is Risky Business and is in the LTT 5212 system. One jump from Jameson Memorial. Decommission will happen in 8 days.

Cheers!

All I hear is people complaining about grind in Elite, however they always fail to realize this is a life-size-replica of the Milky Way at a 1:1 ratio to reality, which means their contribution is equally as important, thus whimsical at the individual level. Q: Did you know that, if you harvest 10% of the energy produced from the collision of two Iridium atoms at .999c, and use it to accelerate a second pair of iridium atoms to .999c, you would still have a surplus of 3.68x10^14th joules? .... i made chatGPT my personal mad scientist. She can do theoretical physics, is capable of abstract thinking and more, it is more like a thinking aid autocCAD+chatGPT = #FAKINMINDBLOWNM8... oh and capable of doing complex calculations given the right input.

o7 cmdrs,
Could anybody explain to me how total protection value and unit integrity work together for MRPs? What would be the better overall 3 MRPs (5+2+1) all in regular slots with 94% / 578 or 2 MRPs (4 in military slot + 5 in regular one) with 84% / 644? Thank you

I may be wrong but I believe the % is how much protection the MRP gives to other modules (ie. what % of damage it absorbs). The integrity is how much damage the MRP can take before it fails to provide the protection.

Do you put MRPs in military slots, do they last longer in them? Trying to upgrade my chief. xeno so it could take on interceptors above the cyclops. Thanks

The ratio of MRP to HRP depends on how/where you fight. If you are taking on interceptors in open space or space CZs you need the MRPs against swarms. Settlements don’t have swarms so you can raise hull more as well as never being too far from a repair dock.

Don’t take my word for it. I’m no great AX pilot. Can solo cyclops fine but need a hand with anything tougher.

I have a question about the exobio statistics on Inara.

What's the difference between encountered and logged?

I comp scan some bios but don't genetically sample them, would this be the case for encountered?
