Result? NO change in the Power Stats.
Good for me I got ways to make money between Rabigo Mine Passenger missions and Bounty hunting, then again, when the game starts throwing passengers demanding that I kill enemies (with a shield less, unarmed ship), then 6 interdiction in a row, I wonder if someone in programming didn't have some fun making sure we can't make money...
It gets even better when you know that I disembark the retarded passenger to avoid interdiction and scan...

It's rarely so much that they hate those regions as it is there are legal barriers.
I'd expect Overclockers, the company providing the system, to ship to Europe as they do as normal business I think.
But the USA surprises me.

Blackvertigo1I really wished Elite crime and punishment was reputation based instead of a global penalty.
There is reputation based system.
Hostile factions, the one you have undermined, will attack you on sight.
Alied factions will rarely even scan you.
C&P is other thing - you commit a crime then the local authorities issue bounty or fine.
The only problem is that security response is quit mild even in high security systems. The cops in the game cannot protect anyone or restore order if needed.

ED 3.8 (Console and Legacy PC clients) are no longer developed and the universe is split from the Live client (EDO/EDH 4.0).
Logically, third party tools, such as Inara and EDDB, ditched the legacy mode too.

EDIT: Nevermind, just read above… That’s unfortunate… Guess I won’t really be able to find a squadron on here then either ???? Maybe Artie can get a legacy version up and running! I know that’s a lot of work, but I would definitely give support if that was in the works!

I've been playing on and off (mostly off) for about 5 years and now i'm on again.
A few things i'm wondering about
7a multi purpose limpet controller - how do you get a 2nd repair limpet to work on your ship, every time i do this the first one is destroyed?
The new (for me) odyssey FSS planetary scan (gives you the blue overlay on the planet) in theory i know how it's supposed to work (youtube vids) but after i've scanned the planet and got down to the planet (not landed just hovering) i have the blue overlay but i don't have the filter that allows you filter what you want eg braintrees,crystal shards, etc. I guess there must be a keybind ? or i'm missing something obvious
What happens when your ship gets destroyed while your in your rover? ( this is my current stuation due to ignorance,lack of even the most basic research and gullibilty/misunderstanding basically my own stupid fault although the view of 2 thargoids flying across the night sky whilst another roots among the ruins and i hide in an abandoned building is spectacular)
i play the latest version of Elite with the story line but no legs (Odyssey)

You can only have one limpet active on one ship at any one time. You can't therefore have two limpets repairing your ship at the same time. You can repair your own ship and another with the second, but the only benefit is the amount of repair you can get from a Class 7.

You should be able to use a bind in FSS to see if there are biologicals and geologicals on the planet you've scanned. If there are none of either, you won't get the option.

Not sure I can remember this happening to me so I'm not sure.
