Drifter MaCrakenI am in the Empyrean Straits. I have been to 8 systems and every Platinum hot spot I have mined has no platinum. Is this occurring in the bubble, or have I discovered a huge bug? Tritium has been low yield, but it can be found. I have visited several systems within a 200 ly bubble, with no platinum. I am heading to a system with multiple large pristine platinum hot spots to confirm the issue.

Strange I have been having a good yield finding lots of Platinum not too far from the bubble in Omicron Capricorni B.

Why does the keybind to toggle back or front of a planet in the DSS keep disappearing in the ship control setting? Every time I login I have to set it up all over again.

Very strange and frustrating. I have spent two days hitting 8 sites, but no platinum in the designated hot spots. I gave up using limpets to prospect and just lasered the rocks. I got mats, and various other minerals. No Platinum. I found a system (Phipae LI-B d13-5175) with 4 large hot spots which I am heading over to mine. Thanks for the update maybe it is localized issue.

Well I found more Platinum in a Painite hot spot than in a Platinum hot spot. Nothing in 4 separate zones.

Frontier fixed caustic sinks not being engineerable with 15.1, so yes. Was one of the first things I did via remote engineering after the update.

8. Dunno why it doesn’t double but I guess they just reused heatsink code for the module.

Phipae LI-B d13-5175 has 9 Pt zones. All Pristine, 1000 miles from nowhere. I have been through 5, I am loading up with limpets and heading back to finish checking the rest. I have heard from within the bubble that there is no issues. It is probably a location issue.

I guess that's because he just doing level 3 upgrade. I have another question: do thargoids which arrived with maelstroms and the ones which were present before in the areas like Pleiades Nebula are the same? I was in the nebula 2 days ago, it is completely permeated with them up to 100 non-humans signals per system. Though the locals are not aggressive and not attacking on their own except scouts unless you start fighting them. No interdictions. It is very strange, I got feelings that they are not at open war with humanity.

Hm, I dont now, but there have been problems with keybinds in the past. you can avoid that by write protecting the file.
should be around here:

\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings

there should be a file named "custom" - thats the one you want to protect. Its even not a bad idea to secure this file in another folder.
You even can customize that file and have it with your desired name shown ingame.

I am 30,000 ly from the bubble all the rings I am checking are pristine. I also pulsed waved the same area yesterday, and I did find core Pt. I could core mine but I just wanted to listen to tunes and chill. Normally, if I am wrong correct me, you should find adjacent rocks, near the core, with Pt in them. I went through the entire system with 9 zones, but only found Pt in a Painite zone. If this just one place I would not have reached out. I have been exploring a 200 ly bubble centered around The Golden Lyre. It seems to be a me issue or a localized issue. I have no problem in the Tritium zones it wasn't until I came up goose eggs in multiple PT zones across several systems. I am using ED Explorer to log the hotspots I have come across. This has been the results so far. Please feel free to suggest other experiments I could do while investigating this issue and any suggestions are welcomed. I appreciate your help with this problem.

Ah yes I did back it up didn’t think of write protecting the file though. Thanx will try that

dont forget to de-protect when you alter the binds again - or you end up like me, yelling at an innocent PC
