Once they delete two erroneous accounts I somehow have with Frontier that each have no commander or ARX data, I will be left with a single account tied to my PSN account.
I see a bunch of answers about migrating from console to PC using EPIC, but absolutely nothing about Steam. So I want to make sure I don't screw this up. What steps do I need to take, in order, to ensure I get my free PC copy of base Elite Dangerous + Horizons on Steam and that my Playstation Commander data is transfered to that steam account in question?
I dont want FDev to have to delete even more accounts of mine that never got used, so I'd like to do this right the first time.

Maybe they should catch the hint, get on with the times and accept… or realize… that they are no longer players relevant in the big leagues. At the very least until they stop being kind of useless while claiming they have nothing to hide and moved on from their… less-than-savory days and methods.
(They obviously haven’t, but shush. The PR team doesn’t want you to know that. And they definitely never sent any mercs to try capturing Seo after she revealed the potential - and very likely - existence of Nemesis.)

Can't help you with Steam, but switching from console with Frontier is simple enough. Just create a Frontier account and link it to your console commander then request a transfer. They transferred in a couple of hours, and once confirmation came through I just downloaded the launcher.

Should i carry on as i am or play Odyssey and avoid the the foot missions. what are the differences

Otherwise? You get to land on planets with thin atmospheres(up to 0.1 atmospheric pressure). Not much else to differ it from the Horizons Live client if you don’t partake in the on-foot stuff. Suppose you can trade with small settlements or attack them from within your ship but there’s not much to that action if you don’t walk around the place too.
(You don’t really lose anything by playing it. 4.0 Horizons and Odyssey are basically the same now for ship flying, with some minor extras for the latter.)

Its a weapons research and development company, To them GUNS are literally the answer to everything, if not guns then lasers or torpedoes or something else designed to cause damage or destruction to an adversary on the field of combat.
I fear you all may find out just how "relevant" we are all too soon

Azimuth leadership wants us to believe their play of ‘Pretend we have changed our ways but we haven’t really’. Admitting to even the potential existence of Nemesis would rail against that so hard, it’s not even funny. Even that narcissistic idiot knows that.
It could also be they’re having trouble getting the whole thing working because their mastermind “died”, but I doubt it. The whole thing would’ve needed to be operational before his body’s death to serve its purpose, I would think.

“Weapons and research company”, yeah right. More like, just wants to believe people that they are so no one thinks a repeat of Seraph could occur.
And if Azimuth think they want to go and pester the Titans some more, don’t say that you weren’t warned from the Proteus Wave’s failure. A ‘happy little incident’ that Rademaker likes to claim he had nothing to do with. Just like he claims the same thing for the Alexandria, Project Seraph, and whatever other dirty things Azimuth had going… while he was effectively second-in-command. Whole bunch of bullshit.
I guess adding ‘war profiteers’ to the list is a minor offense. There’s probably a few billion of those around already, they just don’t have a gigantic red flag sitting on their heads. And aren’t claiming to have the welfare of the only publicly known person to have a working Thargoid implant in their head in mind, while refusing to provide any data that could help to the organization that actually cares, and sending mercs after her to forcibly bring her in*.
*You’re going to say, “But what if it was someone else? You have no evidence/data to suggest it wasn’t.”… no, I don’t, but there’s pretty strong conjecture to suggest it was Azimuth. Particularly since said mercs thought it was a good idea to refer to her by the dehumanizing test subject designation, in such a way that left little to interpretation.

Oh sure, they had the balls to commit cruel experiments without consent on both Thargoids and humans, while creating the fake image of an invasion into the center of populated space, murdering an entire megaship’s crew for it. Or worse, sentencing them to a slow, terrible death.
I don’t see in which universe or circumstances that’s ever worth it. If you lose your humanity to retain your humanity, what have you actually achieved, but create a society of barbarians willing to do anything it takes to achieve their goals, no matter how reprehensible of an act?
If Azimuth actually cared about furthering humanity, they wouldn’t be hiding behind “proprietary corporate material” and other excuses, instead of providing useful data and research to the public, or have triggered a war that could potentially threaten our species’ existence. As I mentioned above, they also don’t care for Seo’s wellbeing, all they want to do is cut her open. Then dump the body somewhere to hide the evidence.
And Aegis also is actually trying to eventually make some sense of how the Thargoids tick. Unlike a certain other company that thinks we don’t need to understand our enemy, and instead just need guns to push the war to ever higher bounds, until the Thargoids eventually decide enough is enough proper, and just start scorching everything. (Whatever they’re doing right now isn’t, though part of that is just Frontier letting the system go into a lame state. The sampling meta, speaking freely, is some of the biggest, nonsensical, gamified bullshit I’ve yet seen.)
Let me just put it this way… if a Titan decides to show up next to a station, do you really think the outcome will not be extremely predictable and one-sided? Just look at how Taranis (figuratively) threw a giant bucket of ice cold water on our heads when it arrived. And it took a few weeks with more Maelstroms arriving for even a dent to be put into their forces enough to repel a single system’s invasion.

I didnt say this company was moral or ethical, because lets be honest its neither of those things.

we are literally the most hated faction in the galaxy right now, you wouldnt be doing it "By yourself" by any means of the imagination
you could probably just yell KILL AZIMUTH really loud in any system and find folks who agree with you

Azimuth screwed up very hard, no wonder the whole galaxy hates that faction atm. I had fun killing thargoids and making billions doing it and If something happens and knowing the frontier.. I will return to killing thargoids with squadron i joined a few motnhs ago.

I have a pretty good idea… that it’s not going to be pretty. I’m very convinced that when we start hitting the Titans with weapons that aren’t effectively worthless against their hulls, it’s going to make the already pissed hornets a lot more cranky.
Though if you were to ask AXI, they, in their hubris, seem to think we are(and will) own the Thargoids hard. Even though those fanatics from the Far God cult really seem to think there’s something even worse lurking somewhere in Witch Space.
On a side note, Rackham really is stupid to the point of being funny. Not only is there no substance to his ‘campaign plans’… but if you make everyone rich, the prices will just go up accordingly. And you’re back to square zero. Almost makes me want to see him elected just to see the chaos unfold… from a safe distance.
