Phrozty2281Hi Jarvis,
Nice to know I wasn't dreaming!
Also sound advice, thanks.
I guess "More practice, Makes perfect"
Aye no problem mate. Yeah it is one of the few experimentals I truly believe is simply not worth it. It only stops friendly fire with a very limited set of weapons, and against a targeted enemy is no different to no experimental at all.
Even most of the "useless" ones as named by the community as a whole, do have use in some niche form at the least.

Rayman. Can someone remind me how to do Surface Settlements Assaulted/Defended? Through missions or just go hobo murder style? I have 6 left to do and it's been a very long time since I was doing odyssey things on foot.
I have no idea about the defended side of it, but for assualts, I have some progress there and the only things I have done that remotely match this description are indeed your "kill everyone" missions.

Keebler750I was trying to figure out how to hand it to him and I punched him in the face.
You're on your way to get a 'mailman of the month' award!

The only thing that comes to my mind is to take their power regulators to count it. I did a raid mission where I killed an anarchist faction in their settlement and it didn't add up. Maybe I didn't take their power regulators after slaughtering them or I was killing them silently. I dont remember how it works anymore..

I have a bounty of a mere 200cr from Alliance Vanguard Crew, ( one of their ships got between me and a Thargoid).
Its been a few days real time, and about 8 hours game time, since it was incurred.
My notoriety is zero.
If I land at one of the starports they control it want me to hand myself in, pay the fine and be dumped n a penal colony, which will cost me a more substantial 18-19 mill to get my ship back.
If go to an interstellar factor somewhere else, either at the nearest port or at one a bit further away (60ly), it says there are no bounties founds to be paid,.
Is this a bug? How can I clear the bounty without throwing myself on my sword?

At the interstellar factor make sure that the faction you incurred the fine with isn't present. If it is you can't pay at interstellar but must pay at the factor directly. ( And be moved to the penal colony).

but where they are not in control there is no option to hand myself in.
Pretty sure the last time I was stupid enough to get sent the jail I had to pay for the insurance premium on the ship.

EddieG.Pretty sure the last time I was stupid enough to get sent the jail I had to pay for the insurance premium on the ship. That happens only if your ship has been destroyed, and then they send you to jail. If you hand yourself in after docking, your ship will remain stored on the station.

I had a similar situation. The interstellar factor did not see my fines. Restarting the game helped me. I was able to pay the fine.

The relog to "activate" fines thing has been a bug for a long time.
Unfortunately, falls under the "It can be fixed with a relog so there's no need to fix it." vibe that FD gives off much of the time.

EddieG.Ah they cant have a presence, thought it was they could not be in control, that's probably it then.
but where they are not in control there is no option to hand myself in. Pretty sure the last time I was stupid enough to get sent the jail I had to pay for the insurance premium on the ship.
I had the same problem some time awhile, you have to go to an interstellar in independent star system.

Fwiw, this also happens if you're in your SRV and it gets destroyed. Have to pay the "impound fee" to get your ship back.
