Bainsey7So I'm fully allied with Azimuth Biotech and I've been parked on Glorious Prospect in the LHS 1163 system for ages now waiting for a mission (or something) to give me the Mbooni permit.
Does anybody know if I'm missing something? What's supposed to happen? I've obtained plenty of permits before but not for a long time (so long before any updates in the past year or so).

I read somewhere Bright sentinal Hip 22460 sells salvation weaps so I am investigating there next.

Noooooo whoever said that may have been playing a prank. hip 22460 is caustic(ie thargoids and their flying acid crap with jumbling electronics) , I got interdicted twice on the way. theres two carriers there but you cant land on either. I think theyre both dead the tauri carrier is broken up. Any way it was an adventure getting here but its a bust

dunno for you but for me it quit being fun. When its not fun it becomes grind, when I run into grind I change directions and find something else. I am having urges to bounty hunt and I will need to refuel my carrier. I havent learned to do any tritium mining yet. so I will probably go have fun bounty hunting for a few billion and some mats. I really like bounty hunting so it takes awhile to start getting bored then I will build myself a miner and try some trit mining. I will probably circle back to try a goid fighting thing in a couple weeks.

Seems like a bug introduced in Update 16, and is not necessarily isolated to Mbooni.

I am in the exact same situation I tried T Tauri first then came to LHS 1163


The mbooni permit was give us in a CG. This permit can be purchase in glorious prospect if I not wrong.

I guess for the time being I wont be using my tag line of

if nothing else we can just place this blame on more OWH sabotage or something right

I tried that several times. Logged in and out several times too.
It looks like it's the bug that's mentioned above by Glen van Ross...

Sorry to hear it, I also have problems with the new pre-engineered AX multies, they do stop firing for no reason autoloader is not working, and route setting is not calculating jump range correctly you have to re-route it all the time. Update 16 is the best.

Oh the joys...
To be honest, this is the first bug I've encountered since I started playing in 2019 (lucky?). Does it usually take long for them to sort things like this?

permit issues? more like just another facet of the bugs plaguing us for quite a while. missing pictures no or slow exit and enter to the vehicles sudden logout togging in and homepage loading problems this is netwide not just FDEW. and so on. It's something about gatewaying between instances or server / user or something alike it's impossible to precisely spot it without seeing the details what's going on beneath the hood. But i has this thought in the back of my mind for a while. there's either a hiccup in the process or just not smooth enough.
