Rayman. How do you trigger thargoid titan pulse? By killing turrets with ax weapons or what exactly? I was destroying turrets with beam laser using cold running ship for farming materials there and some of em were keep respawning.

Just keep annoying it. Kill some turrets, kill some scouts, distract the Thargoids entering and leaving the maw portal.

I already figured out myself... but thanks. Too bad no one bothered any advices sooner.

HurraHola gente,

thank you so much!!

I have a personal mission and it's to get the carrier, but it's 5 billion...does anyone know how I can get money pretty fast?

Thank you!

Short version:
I got all my creds mining and taking advantage of high paying mining and trade missions. Probably why I am an EliteV trader.

Long version:
Using a Type9, I'd either mine high value minerals, or do the old fashioned market tactic of buy cheap and sell high to turn quick profits. You can also search the INARA DATA>Trade Routes to find high paying buy-sell trade routes that can often produce 100+mil an hour. However, just be sure the quantities of available commodities are sufficient. No sense running a trade route if there are not enough commodities to actually reach 100mil an hour.

I made most of my credits either mining high value minerals, (selling 600tons at 750K per ton adds up fast if you can stand the monotony of mining and getting jumped by pirates) or taking high paying (50mil credits) mining missions and just buying the commodities cheap. So what if I have to pay 15mil to buy 300 tons of gold. If a gold mining mission is paying me 50mil for those 300tons, that is still a profit of 35mil for very little work, and it is worth it to not spend the time mining.

As Vasil mentioned in his post, you can rake in the creds with mining. I've done decently since learning what to look for when mining (or playing the supply / demand game between system trade routes). His explanation was on the mark.

Exo and exploring would be a slower second, but would get you there. There are systems as close as 50LY outside the Colonia Bubble that have not been explored. Find a system that pays decently is not hard and there are some 'jackpots' out there to be discovered. My alt account hit a system that had six planets that had biologicals of 2 or more (best had seven), mineral-rick planets (think solid material level 4s). There was also four worlds that were either earth-like, water or terra-formable. Then, there are the first footsteps that will add to the credit pile as well.

My alt has walked away with anywhere from 20 million to 250 million credits when finding decent systems or the nice 'jackpot' systems. It would take you a bit longer, but out in the Colonia area, it's possible. Also, you can make short 'day trips' in and out of the Colonia Bubble. with exploring. Mining and Exploring can be done sibe-by-side rather easily there (along with trading).

Also, finding systems with good Tritium hot zones near Colonia. It can be lucrative with all the fleet carriers that stop in.

Fighting thargoids could be lucrative and its T2M ratio (time to money not DTF) is quite effective. It allows to combine together fed.bonds and minor functions contracts, so you could receive several payouts for the same kill.

Oddly enough, the 90% of the credits I have were made in Colonia. Payouts are sometimes not as much as in the bubble, but Colonia is compact enough that I never had to go more than 30ly for a payout. With the type9 being armed only with mining hardpoints, I either ran or just dumped the requested tonnage of cargo when jumped by pirates in a hotspot.

I dunno why, but there is something satisfying about turning big rocks into little ones.

It's not just 5 billion, that's without any modules/shops on it. And there is a weekly upkeep fee. I waited until i had 7 billion and was still poor again the week after I bought it !! My weekly upkeep fee now is 32.8 mil.

I got my FC money from AX combat zones.

After a long day at work, it can be nice to put on some good music and crack some rocks for enrichment and relaxation. LOL!

I have not done a solo interceptor kill yet but I am making good money in AX combats doing support in open play - i.e. dealing with scouts, sending decon / repair limpets. Similar to bounty hunting you get money for any interceptor kill if you hit them just once. Also, destroying scouts is helping rank progression for combat. My best personal result was a gain of about 300 mil. in 2 hours.

Is there a way i'm missing to set collector limpets to ignore illegal salvage, or do i just have to ignore every type of commodity the pirates i kill drop. Not sure if there is a distinction, I just hate when I don't babysit my contact list and i just have them collecting everything that falls out of a pirate wreck in a Rez site, only for the system cops to turn around and try to kill me because i picked up one unit of bauxite or whatever that the dead pirate had scammed someone out of before i showed up.

I tend to babysit the ship's inventory. When illegal salvage shows up in the cargo, I abandon it and the limpets ignore it after that.

Its a bit more than 5bil - I recommend at least 6 or more, so you can refuel and have some upkeep left. You might want to have a break with ED once you grinded a carrier
I highly recommend Vista Genomics on board, since that way, your carrier is a moveable money printer - head into the void and scan the DNA out of every plant you find. Then sell it directly to your brand new carrier.
