I advise "menu logging". Meaning, exit to the menu -- when docked at interstellar factor or origin station, if the primary faction -- then return to the game and it'll see those fines.

Ok txs, I'll try this.

Silver TafferUnfortunately they are restricting Colonisation to the bubble, at least for the initial roll-out. On the positive side they didn't rule out extending it to the Colonia region in the fullness of time.
I do hope so!

They might have a initiation as a CG for some region in the Center. Not seeing any lore-based reason, but why not.

Ralph ThumHello pilots, I need some help once again, please:
During transports from Sol to V886 I lost some passengers due to Thargoid attacks (an unfriendly bunch, those Thargoids!). I then had to cancel the orders in order to be able to use my cabins again. I've now been fined between 10k and 30k, but I can't pay them, neither via Interstellar Factors nor directly in the contacts menu in the Sol system. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug in the game?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I lost 3 passengers during my first sortie but didn't have to cancel the orders...

You in a metallic ring or a metal rich ring? since metal rich only has platinum cores.

I use Inara for searching metal rings, with platinum spots. and rings have a spots, but i cant find any platinum, i use laser mining not core mining. i broke left arm, and its only 1 way to play ED with 1 hand ))

Fly into the HYADES SECTOR DB-X D1-112, Planet 2 (terrestrial water world with metallic ring). There are several platinum hotspots there. You have to jump into the overlap of the platinum hotspots. Almost every asteroid there has 40 percent platinum. If you don't know what is meant by the overlap, look it up on YouTube. Normal mining and jumping into overlapping hotspots are explained there. There is also a mining tool for Elite.

On Youtube, a user mined 500 tons of platinum in half an hour in an Imperial Cutter. He used four mining lasers and 4 x 5A collecting drones (12 pieces). There are stations in Elite that pay 280000 credits or more for 1 ton of platinum. He earned 140000000 million credits in half an hour. You can get rich with mining.
