We don’t know if it’s moving toward Sol. Sure, there’s a scouting fleet present in that system but the Titan’s destination is less assured. I’m also not sure it’s the one with a deathwish here…

When the Sol system was open to everyone last year for two weeks, I took a photo of Earth and made the comment, "The next time I come here, it'll be with an Imperial invasion fleet".

Looks like I'll be going back with an anti-Xeno fleet instead (as long as they give us all a permit).

In game has been oddly quiet about this so far. Which is curious to me.

And just let the system get hammered. Can't guarantee Achenar won't get its own turn, however.

Give folks a chance to get logged in...be it after work or just waking up. I get the feeling business will quickly pick up by this time tomorrow.

As for Achenar...at least I have a permit to go there (I role-play as an Imperial).

Maybe when the Feds realize the Thargoids have put their attention to it they'll lift the permit lock temporarily.

And by in-game I meant inbox messages or Galnet but I guess Frontier might not have had one ready to go for shooting out immediately after the update. Which is fine, I suppose. They just add a bit of flair to a/the situation.

I'm willing to bet GalNet will have something soon. I do hope the permit lock comes off of the Sol system during this emergency.

Now, my question is this: Where is President Winters right now? Would be interesting if her VP had to take over.

I don’t think so - Cocijo will have its own accompanying Thargoids and its first destination appears to be the very recently recaptured Qinganu… let’s just say, I don’t have particularly good feelings about any populated systems which happen to find themselves in the Titan’s path as it moves to… wherever it is going.

Maybe it wants to install itself as the new capital to the Federation. I’d find that quite funny.

So, the colonisation will be same the old same old.
Brining in several minor fractions to a new star system is a really bad idea. They come with all their drama and petty BS. As someone said: "Import III world, become a III world."
My star system should have only one fractions - loyal to the star system and to the imperium - all the rest can just take a hike and set up shop somewhere else.
Sure, everyone is welcome to drop in, do business, spend money, have a good time and then leave. No permanent stations etc. for outside fractions.

I would find it interesting if all superpower home systems would be attacked. The push for Sol is great, and hats off to FDev for that, but given how quick all past Thargoid invasions have been dealt with, this won't stand a chance (unless FDev pulls the strings in the background). An all out attack on Sol, Achenar and Alioth would be something to remember though.

Sol could still just be a diversion. Until a Titan is actually close to its destination, making predictions on where it will actually arrive is difficult (so I’m not sure why they are so convinced on the prediction already).

Your RP needs to include some tie-in with the Tharg hive-mind because... you just kinda knew where to go for the AX. Didn't you?
