What are you folks doing now after Cocijo? Anyone going back to Sol and do a bit BGS in favor of the Sol Workers' Party maybe?

Tomorrow will probably set off the repair initiative stuff for Sol, whether it runs on a CG or not. Maybe we'll finally get that elusive Titan salvage CG which has been hinted toward several times but has yet to materialize, too. Preferably before the Feds decide to monopolize the Titan wreck and permit lock Sol again, or the Titan's caustic field fully dissipates (I'd really like to not have to bother with the pirate nonsense at those sites).

RawnuBack to bounty hunting in my Mamba, how I missed this beautiful ship. Haven't flown it in quite a while and what a joy!

Farming Raw Materials after exhausting them in different fits.
HIP 36601, Outotz LS-K d8-3, and later HR 3230 and HIP 36601, it's a lot of work and I also have to refill my Carrier's Tritium.
Btw, I understand why you love this Cobra MK V, I use this ship for farming materials in Signals and it's real good at it.

Anyone with a preference for mining have any suggestions for a good Tritium mining ship/build?
If not, that's OK. (My default choice is to retrofit my Keelback (already outfitted for some mining) and my Cobra MkIII.)

Cargo hold
Refinery
Mining multi-limpet controller
Mining lasers
Subsurface missiles
Limpets.
I've never encountered tritium in a core, only surface and subsurface, so seismic missiles won't be necessary if all you want to mine is tritium.
However, unless you plan on spending a long time, a long way from civilization, it may be less time consuming buy the tritium and fill the carrier's cargo with it rather than mine the stuff. A trip to Colonia should be about 6-7K worth of Tritium at most. When the carrier's fuel is low, all you have to do is transfer tritium from carrier cargo to one of your ships, then from the ship to the carrier fuel tank.
Assuming 150 tons per jump (it is usually closer to 130) 18K total tons of tritium will last you at least 60K light years.
FWIW, I am one of those weirdos that actually likes mining. I just mine valuable material and use the profits to buy tritium. I've not gone on a carrier trip far enough that I needed to actually mine tritium.

Kasumi GotoI'll probably set up a Mamba for my alt as has been my plan for some time, Thargoids just meant I never got to it. Build suggestions - weapons, primarily - are welcome.
I'm running a huge short-range thermal vent beam laser, two large oversized frags (one drag, the other either incendiary or corrosive), and two small short-range rail guns (one feedback cascade just in case, one super penetrator, but you could do oversize as well). This has proven for me to be a good combo dealing various damage and making short work of other ships. What I particularly like about the Mamba, it's fantastic look aside, is that all hardpoints are on the same plane (dorsal). Makes mixing fixed and gimballed weapons somehow easier for me.

Interesting setup, I dont like Mamba cuz it is kinda like dragster-fast only in straight. For veery long time I used on bounty hunting/trading (yes, I had guns on my Krait when trading) Krait Mk2 with 4 modshards and one thermal vent beam but now I very like Pythy 2 which I have fitted with 4 modchargers, corrosive multicannon and scrambler pulse laser and it is veeery fun to use. When chargers are fully charged, they will destroy Dangerous level Viper 3 even with shields just by one salvo. Only problem of that build is time needed for charging up

Mamba defender here. This is not completely true. The turn speed of the Mamba is significantly enhanced by using boost, boost attenuation (via landing gear), laterals and a good dose of FA off here and there. It requires a bit of experimentation, granted, but then the Mamba is not much different in combat situations than the FdL. And you will never fly a ship that kills in style like the Mamba

mamba supremacy my all time favorite ship, only surpassed by the Mandalay (which is basically a mamba that grew wings)

Vasil VasilescuYou don't need anything special to mine tritium other than a ship with the basic mining gear.

Noted. Thank you. I'll just give things a shot in my existing mining ships then.

My curiosity is mainly for the activity itself and, since I use Tritium, I figured it'd be something I'd want to actually go through the process with rather than trying to learn the best resources to mine for whichever market. I could see myself trying to do the valuable material -> profit method as well, but Tritium is probably an easy one to start with. And, yes, this is only out of interest and curiosity, not need. Buying the Tritium has been preferable until now.
Aurora Adair-Levine mamba supremacy my all time favorite ship, only surpassed by the Mandalay (which is basically a mamba that grew wings)
I, too, like the Mamba. I can understand some criticisms of it. It's great for what I use it for, but limited in general use. Whereas my favorite (the Mandalay) seems to be an all-around good ship.
Regarding the Mamba, I use mine for Bounty Hunting and I use my FDL for Assassinations. Mamba has a plasma accelerator, a TV beam, and the rest of the hardpoints are frag cannons; I pick a target, pick a subsystem, use the plasma on the subsystem (and its shields in the process), then shred it with the frag cannons. All targets (except large ships) are down in a couple shots.
What I don't like is the location of the pilot. I prefer a seat that gives me a better field of view, whereas the large Mamba "wings" obstruct some of it.
