Mason Caldwell. Explorer, bounty hunting, trader -- jack of all trades, really. He was quite content on the agricultural colony he called home and never really meant to find himself in space; until his mother died of dustrot, a lung disease hidden in the soil that surfaced after an error in the terraforming process. He bounced around doing odd jobs here and there for a while, mostly as af armer or tractor mechanic, until a dusty old Sidewinder fell into his lap. He fixed it up with some spare upgraded tractor parts and took to the skies. He hasn't looked back since.
