I'm from Earth, Sol. Apart from being a citizen I haven't been part of any federal corporation though, and took to the stars very early in my life. Following my grandfather's path, I hooked up with the Pilots' Federation and became a Commander.

After establishing myself and making enough credits, I accepted my grandfather's legacy, which came with a considerable debt, but also with his old Cobra MK3.
I paid off the debt and inherited the ship. The Cobra enabled me to take better contracts and haul more cargo which I did for a considerable amount of time until I was able to purchase an Asp Explorer and outfit it. I finally had more freedom and versatility, and headed out to explore a few locations not too far from the Bubble, including the Orion cluster and Pleiades, followed by an expedition to the Formidine Rift.

I then expanded my fleet, also by doing jobs on the side, got into scientific research and joined up with a fellow Commander to found the Travellers' Association.
