A light... The past... I don't remember...

I hear a voice calling to me. "Ma'am! Ma'am! Can you hear me? Are you alright?" He was a gruff looking man.  "The war.. the bombs... are they over?" I asked him. "I don't understand, Ma'am. It's February 8th, 3304." I feel my eyes widen as the man pours me the facts. "We found several cryopods in this underground vault. Several of them have already awoke, and are in our care." I take the man's hand as he guides me to my feet. The air is cold and humid.  I followed him to exit as we boarded a ship. The technology, advanced, but understandable. "Karu!" I hear a shout.  He ran to me and embraced me. It was Lazarus. "I'm so glad you're okay. I had to come back to check." "Are the others okay?" I asked him. "Yeah." "I'm so glad... We've made it."

And so, I suppose this is the start of a new adventure.
