In 1984 Commander Rogers found himself transported to the year 3100 in the body of Peter Jameson where he helped him become the first person to reach elite combat status. Subsequently his body was cryogenically frozen and revived in 3300 in what had to him become a very different galaxy. He had lost his combat rank and Cobra mk3 but was given the opportunity to relive his life and re-achieve elite status once more, not just in combat but now in exploration and trading. He made his home at Smith's Beacon in the Suteni system and from there he explores the galaxy.
