CMDR Diabolo. Hailing from the colony of New Paris on Mars, joined the Pilots Federation at age 5 as a floor scrubber aboard a Type-7. A pirate attack left the ship crew dead with Diabolo as the long survivor by hiding inside a small smuggling compartment. After the pirates started returning to their ships, Diabolo hopped out of the compartment and took control of the Type-7.

"What does this lever do?" Diabolo asked himself as he pushes it forward. The Type-7 suddenly boosts forward, its engine spewing fire. The pirate lord, Padyu Amardillo, looked out the window of the transport capsule. Her eyes widen as the lumbering transport ship suddenly charges towards. Within seconds it was over, the Type-7's canopy was smeared with limpet scraps and human giblets. Padyu Amardillo, Erevate's most feared pilot, was dead.

He had rammed the limpets carrying the pirates back to their ship and killed them in the process. The result was Erevate's most wanted pilot being killed and Diabolo given his own Sidewinder to start his career as an actual commander.
