Near the completion of her flight training said referrals for her and her best friend were found to be fabricated, instead of being arrested or blown out of an airlock she was offered a job working for her flight instructor, who was set to retire at the same time. This led to her working for years for a mercenary team based in the LQ Hydrae system, working there as well as in the nearby Rhea, Orishpucho and Amun systems.
In 3304 she conducted a rescue operation near Wohler Horizons, saving the life of the up-and-coming Imperial Dictator Maurice Culinus. Upon flying him back to the Draguan Nu system he presented her with the offer of helping him bring the unruly system to heel. Given her overall ire towards pirates and opportunistic criminals in general, she spent two weeks wrapping up business in LQ Hydrae before officially moving to Reightler Dock.
To her the subsequent work initially was an opportunity to, as she saw it, continue to do what she had already been doing for years. When the consequent flash point occurred of outright war with the pirates, she assisted in successfully taking the system and installing Culinus as Dictator. Afterwards she was sent to scout the Synuefe systems, producing a trove of public information about the Guardian ruins found there.
When the Empire, through the Brotherhood of Draguan Nu, waged war upon New Republic and the civilian population of Reightler Dock, there was a large shift in how Ingrid perceived her own purpose within Draguan Nu. Rather than having an interest in keeping Culinus in power, she began to feel responsible for the population of Draguan Nu as a result of Imperial invasion. This led her to create the special operations branch for New Republic, Bloodbound Harvest.
Months after its creation and the establishment of their own security outpost, Valhalla Control Network, she began to notice the lax governance of Culinus. When confronted with the same concerns by her squadmates and advisors and the lack of rebuilding damaged sections of Reightler Dock by Culinus she decided to launch a naval blockade against New Republic and Reightler Dock itself. With the seasoned combat pilots almost entirely under her command and having officers within New Republic itself loyal to her the coup against Dictator Culinus was carried out with minimal casualties. Her first decree as Dictator, ironically, was to abolish the role entirely. New Republic remains as a military dictatorship, yet today has little to do with governing the people as their interest is in rebuilding what was damaged in the wars and securing the system from pirates.
Currently Ingrid continues to work as the security chief of New Republic's security police, sometimes acting as a guide for pilots who are new to Guardian ruins.

Codename:
Viking, Momma Bear
Personnel Number:
[REDACTED]
Date of Birth:
05 June, 3272
Place of Birth:
Fredrikstad, Norway
Physical Characteristics/ Features:
Both eyes reflect sources of light when present due to noted augmentation (see note below).
Augmentations/Implants:
Experimental reflective augmentations to the rod cells of the eyes enable clear vision in densely wooded and/or very low light areas [February, 3288].
Minor chromosomal editing resulting in more dense skeletal and lean muscle tissue growth, more resistance to injury and increased strength [February, 3288].
Background/Service Record:
Little is known of her younger years due to lack of proper documentation other than military recruitment papers printed in Oslo [February, 3287], notation made that applicant lied about age but was overlooked by local office due to lack of personnel. Further investigation shows she was living with a small, isolated nomadic clan of approximately fifty individuals. Former occupation: game hunter, trapper.
Proven to have high aptitude in reconnaissance, unarmed combat, stealth and survival skills, was referred to the specialized 11th Recon Program operating near Stuttgart, Germany [October, 3287].
Recruited by Pilots' Federation program [September, 3291] to specialize as a recon pilot (reference source not specified), also proving high aptitude in combat operations and strategy.
After graduation mostly operated out of the LQ Hydrae system [Wohler Horizons] as co-founder of independent CORE mercenary wing [3293 to 3295], serving as a recon and support pilot.
Operated independently out of the LQ Hydrae and Rhea systems as a trucker and search-and-rescue pilot [3296 to 3304]
Served the New Republic faction in the Draguan Nu system as flight leader of the 1st Bomber Wing during Operation: Reightler Beachhead [September, 3304] and as Deputy Wing Commander during the War of the Shattered Scale [October to December, 3304].
Showed high aptitude for leadership when given battlefield promotion to Deputy Wing Commander. Started de facto partnership with Reightler Dock security services to purge the system of pirate faction leaders, resulting in multiple commendations and the founding of Valhalla Control Network [January, 3305].
Created the faction's Bloodbound Harvest Special Operations Fleet, New Republic's special operations and military police branch. [January, 3305].
Appointed as third member of New Republic Diplomatic Corps [October, 3305]
Led Bloodhound Harvest forces in the successful coup in the Draguan Nu system, overthrowing the existing dictator and installing loyal personnel within command positions inside the reformed faction [March, 3306- Refer to Operation: Dragon's Dusk].
Specializations:
Close-quarters combat [unarmed/armed], dogfighting, reconnaissance, improvised weaponry, metaphorically whacking hornet nests and delivering belligerent insults.
Notations:
Operation: Reighter Beachhead: September,3304. Initial incursion by original founding officers into the Draguan Nu system, which at the point in time had been under an anarchy government and unclaimed by any existing power, super or minor. Few in number but skilled, the founders and their accompanying pilots managed to conquer the existing faction in power. Due to the lack of challenges on the behalf of the pirates and the coordination of invading New Republic forces the incursion by New Republic was successful and a more permanent base for the group was established within the walls of Reightler Dock [Additional information redacted, refer to New Republic archives for details].
War of the Shattered Scale: October, 3304 to December, 3304. Imperial powers, acting through proxy by arming and supporting the recently dethroned Brotherhood of Draguan Nu, launched a war of attrition from within Reightler Dock to hand the system over to Imperial powers. Initially Imperial proxies through Brotherhood were successful, temporarily putting the Brotherhood and other pirate factions in free reign of Draguan Nu. With the help of outside mercenary forces recruited by CMDR [REDACTED] the Brotherhood and by proxy the Imperial influence in the system was all but annihilated. As of recent updates the Brotherhood of Draguan Nu has yet to establish any sort of meaningful hold within the Draguan Nu system, their forces continuously being persecuted by New Republic command. [Additional information redacted, refer to New Republic archives for details].
Operation: Dragon's Dusk: March, 3306. A successful coup by Bloodbound Harvest Security Police forces against New Republic, brought about by general governmental weakness and inaction on behalf of the Dictator Maurice Culinus. The superior firepower and tactics used by Bloodbound Harvest resulted in the dethroning and arrest of the former Dictator. This short conflict quickly earned notoriety for the Bloodbound Harvest naval forces in the tactics used, no warning of attack having been given and being executed with startling coordination among the security police. Reightler Dock was placed under siege from without and within by CMDR [REDACTED] and loyal forces within New Republic. Using the aid of [REDACTED] in jamming communications from inside the starport, New Republic forces who attempted to fight back were flying blind and scrambling without strategy. Station defenses were inactive throughout the siege due to information leaked to relevant loyal station personnel, and all firefights were directed away from Reightler Dock. With minimal casualties Bloodbound Harvest was able to infiltrate and take over New Republic held areas, including their headquarters. The dethroned Culinus was arrested and extradited to the Achenar system where Imperial emissaries made negotiations for his exchange and release.
