Seth was born on June 12, 3269 to Alexander and Helen Bradwell in the settlement of New Blackburn on Nyalayan A4, a world that had been taken over by the Empire a generation previously. His mother was the daughter of a mid-ranking refinery magnate, his father an Imperalised citizen who held key farming interests on the planet and a stake in a major shipping firm. Sent to Achenar at age 11 to be educated at the prestigious Fullerhouse College, his life was turned upside down at 15 when a Kumo Crew incursion devastated his home world, claiming the life of his mother and destroying his family's business. Although the Kumos were pushed back, his father had to sell himself into slavery to pay for remainder of Seth's education and to contribute to rebuilding his home. Even when his time of servitude had ended, Seth's father was left bitter by the experience, his heart full of hatred of the Kumos that killed his wife and destroyed his livelihood, and resent for an Empire that had failed to protect his family, and he left Nyalayan in 3288 to become a bounty hunter, trying desperately to strike back at the very people who caused his torment, and disappeared two years later, presumed killed in a battle with one of Archon Delane's top henchmen. Seth avoided having to sell himself into slavery thanks to his newfound connections from Fullerhouse, and worked odd jobs in order to make ends meet before working in the Gutamaya yards at Facece until he was 30, when he signed up for the Pilot's Federation. Since 3301 he has become a soldier of fortune, working for whoever pays him the most or serves his greater interest. Whilst having no active role in politics beyond supporting whichever faction he is presently in the employ of, he still holds true to his Imperial roots, and will vigorously defend the Empire from outside critics whilst still acknowledging its faults in private.
