From the Start

Rio was born and raised in Harma under the strict hand of his father doing what was needed to make ends meet. Quickly obtaining his flight license and taking some shortcuts here and there he was able to lift the load off his father, Rio figured it was only right that the man who gave up so much just so he could have an average life was able to work less. The idea was to have his father not work at all and to live a life that he could only dream of since age was slowly creeping up on him. Time passed and his father would be out of a job while being offered the detail of working staff as a shuttle driver. The man he knew to have amazing stories as a pilot shouldn't have to stoop to a simple shuttle driver just to meet ends meet. Rio made a promise to him that he'd live a relaxed life and it was his turn to take care of him. With a final exchange he sold his father's ship so that he could rest and assured him that he'd take care of and not to worry about him and to simply relax and enjoy the overdue vacation. Rio dropped all his funds to reserve his father a slot back in Gabriel Enterprise while setting his on sights to the Orion Republic after seeing a recruitment flyer, from that point on every he funnels credits into an account for his father so that he can live the rest of his life work and stress free.

The Climb

Working for Orion Republic was a good shift for Rio. It started with him completing their training and taking on simple tasking such as running errands at Hill Docks located in Tsakhmet. Anywhere from being first on the deck when someone returned from a mission to assist with the unloading, restocking and even repairing of their ships. There was no task that Rio felt he was above and even taking on the tasking that others didn't, making runs from the lobby of the docks and back up to the landing pads just to save time for those rapid deployments. It wasn't until war broke out that the leader of the group name CMDR Tengri Umai slotted Rio to assist, quickly throwing him into an stock eagle to act as backup. From then on his work shifted to receiving special tasking from CMDR Tengri Umai, displaying his unique skill Rio slowly accumulated a large amount of credits and purchased his own ships to further his progression and even becoming something of a right hand to CMDR Tengri Umai after being awarded countless promotions.

Into the Dark

Against the will and advice of most Rio's first ship was a Crusader, countless times he was questioned on his choice when there were much better options and in his response was to simply quote his father. "It's not the ship that makes the pilot, it's the pilot that makes the ship." Just as spoken he'd display his unique abilities and capabilities with his crusader helping him climb the rankings and taking up covert operations. Those mission acted as a gateway for Rio as he progressed further and further down that hole until he found himself promoted and leading his own covert operations team and being the lead for anything covert within Orion Republic. It wasn't until he constantly got in trouble with the law and landing himself in jail a few times did he start to slow down with the operations. Soon the need for his set of skill dwindled and he found himself just bounty hunting while still providing funds to his fathers account.

The Search

With the wars over and the space that Orion Republic held being defended and returning to a peaceful state, most members found themselves putting away their ships into storage and taking a long deserved vacation after years of war. Rio would do the same but resting wasn't something that sat well with him, so instead he'd drift from station to station. Picking up odd jobs and drifting he'd simply roam the galaxy in search of what was to come next.
