As a pirate squadron, we at Axiom have a strong affinity toward our dear 'sea monster' (as the less informed may call them) friends the Thargoids. So as pirates following our pastafarian tenets, we believe strongly in the conservation and well-being of these beautiful creatures.

Thargoids are a migratory species which translocate from the core region to the outer rim every few hundred years. Having seeded our region with barnacles thousands of years prior, they use our space like a half-way depot to rest and refuel. However, their peaceful journey has unfortunately been hampered since humans became a space faring people. The xenophobic attributes demonstrated by the likes of INRA, Aegis and AXI only serve to delay the Thargoid migration through our space.

To combat this threat, Axiom pilots alongside the newly established Thargoid Conservation Society (TCS) as well as the mining union of Borann Boys - have made efforts to quell further unnecessary conflict between our species. So too we understand that occasionally population density grows rather high in some sectors, and thus culls may need to be performed. To this end we distribute hunting permits at a modest cost, of which the proceeds are put back into conservation research. These permits do not cover Thargoid Scouts as they are undersize for fishing.
