Viktoria was born to James, a reactor mechanic, and Alice, a legal consultant of Sirius Power, on board a research ship within the Avik system- realizing that such a vessel was no place to raise a child, her parents deciding to return to Sothis, where their four other children resided. Due to various delays and issues with getting the travel/leave approved, Viktoria was raised on a Coriolis starport, leading to her having a strange physique in comparison to the rest of her family, being taller than both her parents and siblings by the time she was 10, when they were finally able to return to their home of Sothis A 6.

Viktoria’s upbringing was among one of the best that could be expected for a child born off-world, going to some of the best schools, and having access to a wide array of extracurricular activities. She found her calling in the realm of logistics, assisting with the planning and execution of various events for her school groups, and earning a reputation as a stickler for on time deliveries and proper equipment.

However, due to the hectic nature of working for “the fourth superpower,” Viktoria’s parents were often so busy that they didn’t notice her slowly getting wrapped up in the wild lifestyle of working as a material coordinator for a group of freelance pilots on the Orbis Station that she lived on in her late teens. The allure of not being tied down to a single system, the ability to simply catch a ride anywhere in the bubble in search of work proved to be too enticing for her parents to convince her to come back and work for the Sirius Corporation, as they had hoped.

Viktoria finally scraped together enough credits to buy her very own Sidewinder from an orbital scrapyard in 3295, and her father helped her fix it up enough to be vacuum worthy, because despite being worried about what might happen to a freelance pilot in a bucket of bolts, he saw how happy the idea of being a CMDR was to his youngest daughter. His fears would almost come to pass when a group of pirates attacked Viktoria on a supply run, causing her to suffer deep facial scarring, and the loss of her right eye.

With the release of the Frame Shift Drive in 3297, Viktoria immediately worked on selling off various assets to purchase one, and immediately put it into the Sidewinder that she and her father fixed up, allowing her to arrange enough of a contact network to apply to become a member of the Pilots Federation, and was accepted into the ranks in the year of 3302.
