Jacob Trydelius IV. was born on the 27. April 3281 in Ehrlich City, Mercury. He made his first experiences with space ships early, as his father was the owner of a night club and got many liners for his parties. While his mother was a rather sentimental person, his father is known to have a slight bipolar disorder and often hit his wife. When Jacob was 8 years old, he visited the Exigeous School for Economics and Public Relations, as his father wished to. At the age of 14 his life took a drastical change, when his mother died. As he had no friends, he needed his father now more than ever, but he was currently on one of his many businesses. So he began to put his agony more and more in the casinos and bars. When he was 16, he heard the news that his father nearly killed a drunk guest in a fistfight. In the trial, he got informed that his father was involved in many crimes, such as tax evasion, assassinations and drug dealing. His father was imprisoned lifelong. Jacobson sold the night club and took the rusty Sidewinder, which he got from his father shortly before and left the solar system.
However, he didn't came far. In the LHS 3447 system, he was interdicted and assaulted by a hitman, who wasn't paid by his father. He nearly escaped death and was rescued by Blaine. He decided to change his life and wanted to be an explorer. He didn't know how to start, so he decided to do some deliveries. In the time, he became handy with his ship.
One time, when he was in the system of Kremainn, he saw a known face in the GalNet: The hitman who assaulted him. He began to research and modified his ship into a war machine. Driven by his revenge, he followed the murderer to a Resource Extraction Site, where Jacob attacked him. After a long and hard fight he had destroyed the hitman's ship and turned in the bounty. He wanted to continue his work, but the adrenaline rush and the money pulled him towards bounty hunting. After a few fights, which were much easier than his first one, he realised it. He became the real thing, he hated. Desperate, and driven crazy by the thought that he killed people, he was creeped out by his own work. He finally returned to exploring, and bought a new ship, which costed all of his money, and went on his first exploration trip. Discovering the beauties of the galaxy was a bless to his soul, after many years of domestic violence, and two years sfter his father had been imprisoned. But then he realised what dangers there are in the galaxy, just to speak of his first encounter with a brown dwarf. After nearly 10 months in the outer space, he finally reached Diaguandri, which he heard of to have great discounts. After selling all of his data to the local UC office, his payment was, with 35 million credits, way less than the estimated 50 million. He wanted to buy an ASP Explorer, but he couldn't afford it at the moment. After a failed try to make money through trading and a complete redesign of his Cobra 3, he went on another, shorter exploration trip. While he was on this expedition, he registered that he needed a teacher. When he was back home, he finslly bought his beloved ASP Explorer and found a group of commanders who were willing to help him: the Sissy Corporation. After handling out a brief contract, Jacob was now a recruit of the union of commanders. He received a lot of advice, however, the most important was a contact who apparently could help him. But nothing is free. The engineer who turned out to be legendary Felicity Farseer proposed to make a deal: one meta-alloy for a modified frame shift drive. Heading to the Maia system, he purchased a meta-alloy, nearly crashed on a planet, and is now flying towards the Decian system.
