I always wanted to be Pilot. So did my father. I got my chance when he died and left me the Sidewinder he'd spent so long working planetside saving for, after taking care of his family first. He didn't manage to realise his dreams of a life among the stars as the disease that took him incapacitated him before he'd even had the chance to get out of LHS 3447. He lives out there through me now, as I find my way and make my fortune.

It’s taken time and hard work to learn the way of the CMDR, but I think, I hope, that occasionally when I see myself reflected in the canopy, I catch a glimpse of him smiling proudly back at me.
