My mother gave birth to me aboard a stranded ship, lost in deep space. As I was told, my parents were landing on an Earth-like world they had discovered in deep space when a thruster malfunction caused them to crash on the surface. My mother says that father was killed in the crash, but I’ve always questioned how much truth there was to that story. I was around ten when my mother fell ill and passed away as well. My years alone as a child forced me to develop the ingenuity needed to survive on this new world. Luckily, the native biosphere had evolved in such a way that the animal and plant life was capable of sustaining human life. Through foraging and crafting the simple tools I needed, I was able to survive on my own, stranded on this undiscovered world for a few more years before a group of mercenaries found me in my teens. The mercenaries took pity upon me and raised me as one of their own. I fought alongside them for many years in the dark before I found my way back to the bubble.
