Saryn was born in Bragur during year in 3276. Growing up, Saryn was being prepared to take control of the family business "Batterson's Express Logistics" which saryn appreciated, as through this family business he first learned to control a keelback and fly, albeit short distances inside the system.

After coming of age, Saryn enlisted into the Imperial navy from which he received basic pilot training, followed by more extensive pilot training by Pilot's federation. During the training his father, Torsten Batterson, lost his life during a pirate attack, leaving the heritage and the company to Saryn's management.

Saryn sold the company to the subsidiary of D and C Shipping, Inc, leading to the company being assimilated with the company, of which the profit were used by Saryn to fund further pilot training.
Saryn became a licensed pilot in 3300 and he used most of the amassed funds to buy for a working ship.

Continuing the path of his father, Saryn invested first into a keelback, but soon upgraded the ship into a Lakon Type-7. After the spread of new hyperdrive technology created by Sirius corporation, Saryn saw the opportunity to increase the small scale shipping trade into nearby systems and further.
Saryn took any delivery opportunities the various stations provided, sometimes it was legal consumer commodities, sometimes black market trade but it paid off.
Saryn re-outfitted the type-7 to accommodate the delivery of passengers and headed to System of Ceos.
Saryn did these passenger deliveries for a month or two, until he had amassed enough credits to buy one of the big ships, Falcon Delacy's Anaconda.

With some extra funds, Saryn also invested into a Vulture which was a small nimble combat vessel intended to be used in local system bounty hunting.
Saryn retired from passenger missions, taking more opportnities in hunting pirates and bounties on conflict zones, res-sites and alike. Reuniting with a imperial navy colleague of his, Cmdr Hawke.

As a team, Saryn and Hawke collected their fair share of bounties in the imperial space until Cmdr Hawke disappeared suddenly. Saryn assumed Hawke to be dead and moved into another system, after all if someone was after Hawke they most likely were after him as well.

Saryn lived a quiet life for few years, being careful not to leave any trace of his existense until he returned under the pseudonym "Batterybun". He had created the ID of a lonesome miner, hunting for Low Temperature Diamonds during the gold rush of "The Egg" in 3306.
Followed by the profit gained from the mining venture, Saryn was set for life. Buying numerous combat ships, and even a fleet carrier.

To this day, Saryn flies around the galaxy, often joining to fight in conflict zones, exploring the galaxy, trading commodities. Often spending his days aboard his personal fleet carrier, The Sunken Cost Fallacy.
