As I grew up, my parents educated me on the way of the galaxy, on how life is so easily snuffed out but so immensely worth living at the same time. They never discouraged me from anything, only told me to be the best at what I do. Of course, they cared for my safety, so my father educated me in combat and war, while my mother taught me the more subtle arts of deception and corruption. I would often times associate with the Clan of Namba and Lwali Silver Drug Empire for the challenge. But we all knew that one day, they wouldn't suffice. So they continued to prep me for the eventuality of my departure. Me and my sister.
My sister, Morghana, and I couldn't be more different. While we had the same parenting and life preparation growing up, she had one particular trait that, when developed, turned her down a different path. Vitiligo. Yes, if you just asked yourself, don't we have a cure, you are absolutely correct. There has been a permanent cure for vitiligo since 2750. But, when Morghana started showing signs of it, instead of allowing our parents to get the cure, she embraced it. She actually allowed it to spread over as much of her body as possible and then helped it finish the job when she was 20. Then she began adding cybernetic augmentations, mostly minor ones, to change her appearance to match. As a result, she embraces the edgier lifestyle more freely and responds to people....differently. She has wittier comebacks and is quicker to react rather than act. But, she is no one to be underestimated. We are an amazing team together and embrace different roles. While neither of us are afraid of the spotlight, she is quicker to hide from it and work from the shadows. You will occasionally see her though, in which case, consider yourself blessed.
