My mother and father were both commanders, the story is they first met with their ships in pieces. Both independent pilots, mother fought to protect traders. My father was a trader and passing through lawless space was interdicted. The official story is my father sent a distress signal and my mother responded and after a fierce battle destroyed the antagonist's ship who had a bloodlust and wouldn't talk or take any form of payment. There is some evidence that my mother was a simple vigilante who interdicted my father and after a case of mistaken identity opened fire.

However it is they met, after a dinner and a few drinks they were married the same day. I was born within a year. As trading profits faded my father left his commandership and worked in the repair yards. My mother started protecting traders then when I was 14, she disappeared. At first we expected the worst, but there was no record of her ship being destroyed.

When I was old enough, my father gave me a sidewinder that he had scrapped together. He taught me the basics, I quickly moved up to a Cobra Mk3, made some credits and my father was so proud the day I bought a DBX for my first expedition outside of the bubble.
