Commander Marlo owns several ships and assets. He has proven outstanding combat capabilities, both in ground and space. He is also a seasoned xeno-fighter. Despite his multiple services to the Pilots Federation and to lots of legitimate factions, his involvement in various events related to the disgraced Senator Tajina Kahina Loren (aka Salomé) and Caleb Wycherley (aka Salvation), as well as his relationship with various individuals and factions that are notorious because of their criminal activities indicate that Commander Marlo should be considered as extremely dangerous.

BIO
Born and raised in Gateway system, his mother died giving him birth. No brothers or sisters. His only known relative was his father, Cisco Marlo, who was an explorer for the Alliance given for dead on March 3301, while exploring an unidentified signal source in the Merope system.

UPDATE: In JUL 3305 it was discovered that he was half-brother of commander Zal Marlo.

Commander Marlo spent his childhood at Dublin Citadel, an Orbis station upon planet Hope in the Gateway system. His father was based there and had an apartment in the habitation ring, but spent most of his time flying in missions, so young Jav Marlo grew up under the tutelage of the Alliance Social Services. He received basic academic and military training. Jav Marlo showed an affinity with tech, engineering and spaceships since a young age, and expressed many times his wishes of being a space explorer. He also stood out in the study of history, astrography, archeology and practised several martial arts.

Upon becoming an adult, his father started to take him in his intersystem trips, but never allowed him to accompany him on his deep space missions, so Jav Marlo was able to visit and live for short periods of time in several systems and stations, mostly in the Alliance space, taking occasional jobs as a mechanic. His father never wanted him to join the Pilots Federation so Commander Marlo did not apply to it until his father disappearance.

Despise his interest in the study of archeology, Jav Marlo has spent most of his life in space, be it in stations or vessels. He visited planet Lave once as a child and later described the experience as dizzy. He has tried to avoid planetary visits since then.

He has been described by his tutors as intelligent, solitary, patient and cold. He has a deep scar on his face as a result of a bar fight.

In NOV 3304 Jav Marlo was working as a mechanic in the system Asellus Primus, where his father has left him three years ago, when he was informed that he had successfully qualified in the exams by the Academy for Novitiate Pilots and acquired the status of Commander. He purchased an old Sidewinder that he renamed as the Arche and launched into the space. He said that his intention was to search for his father in the Merope system.
